Without a doubt, worst hotel in blackpool. stayed here for 2 days and was ready to head home after 2 hours. Staff were arrogant and mostly speaking in polish. For the duration of our stay we had no hot water, had to get toilet pan unblocked twice(which they done with a mop, then proceeded to drag the dirty mop through the bedroom carpet still dripping), and had a stranger walk in on my girlfriend whilst getting changed as reception had given other guests the same room. During our stay there was dirty linen lying in the corridor for 3 days without being removed, the Car parking is a joke, old abandoned cars take up most of the spaces, and as for Tommy, the scottish guy who is assistant manager, id be better trying to communicate in polish to the other guys. His mannerisms are a disgrace and trying to humiliate my girlfriend in front of other guests was embarrassing! Only guy who was helpful was man in restuarant who is overworked and seems to be doing all the work in the place, I really could go on but im not going to waste more of my time on this place

Stayed here with work colleagues in the May of 2013. We paid £35 per room per night, breakfast included.

Based in a brilliant location in the heart of the promenade close to all the usual attractions and pubs. The bar was open 24hours, and was pleasant enough to have a chilled and relaxed drink.

Breakfast, however, wasnt the best and for the 3 day stay, we only ate breakfast once and went to Weatherspoons the other days. Could also have been a lot cleaner too.

Staff couldnt be more willing to help which made things for a tourist all the easier.

Would stay here again but probably not in a hurry.

I stayed at the new royal Windsor hotel on the weekend of 14th December for my cousins 21st weekend away so there were 7 of us girls in total. We knew it wasn't going to be luxury as we only paid £49 for the room for one night and so for the price I suppose you can't really complain! Me and my sister shared a room which just so happened to be a sea view room - it we a nice surprise considering we didn't pay anything extra and the room was light and airy although quite small. There wasn't much hot water coming from the shower room and I must say we slept in our coats as we've never been so cold! The reception staff were friendly enough and offered us a free bottle of wine as it was my cousins 21st. Overall I wouldn't stay again as would go for something a bit more upmarket but if your looking for something cheap and aren't going to be spending much time staying in the room then it's not all that bad! Parking was free which was good and it's quite a central location although a bit of a walk to the main area where all the bars are! Get a taxi it's cheap enough!

Room Tip: Ask for sea view!

After reading some of the reviews I arrived at this hotel with some trepidation. The car park at the rear was uninviting to say the least. However things got better. The staff at reception were helpful and we were shown to our room which was a sea facing family one.It was nice and clean and effort had been made to upgrade it with a new flat screen TV and towels that also appeared new.It is located four doors down from The Manchester Pub so is very handy for the town centre and Bloomfield Road (Blackpool FC) which is why we were there.I would definitely stay there again next season.

Room Tip: Book a sea view room for £2 extra.

Window didnt shut and in october was freezing, the toilet didnt flush and the ceiling had huge holes and hole in floor. didnt hang round for breakfast in morning juts wanted to get out of there!!!
