“Nice stay”

Got here at the new Osborne, the girl who was working didnt know what she was doing got our room mix up. After 10 mins she finally sorted it out. Got in our room n was happy with it but went into the toilet to find poo stains on the wall. Not nice when I had two small children who touch everything but we didnt let that get to us. The first night was abit noisy we was in room 1 which was straight as u go up the first set of stairs so we can hear everything going pass or standin at the bottom lucky my kids got to sleep well as did I. They gave us 1 travel cot when we book 2 but lucky we toke one of our own. The bloke who worked there was reali handly with helping me with my prams up n down the stairs. The bar is lovely to relax n have a nice drink. The bed is sooo comfy wanted to take it home haha but we enjoyed our stay after we settled so thanku :)

At a glance. Tea/coffee facilities were covered in dirt and stoore on the trays the cups had splash mark stains. The walls had dirty marks. A good few rips in them. No light shade over bulb. Curtains hanging off the rail. Radiators paint was peeling off.

We booked online through expedia for one night BB for two adults two kids and a baby. When we arrived the owners father couldnt find our booking or his son. He even suggested we were at the wrong hotel. After about fifteen mins owner appeared. Very quiet not overly friendly. Eventually discovered booked in my name paid with my partners. Both names were on our booking print out we had. No offer to help us lift pram upstairs which would have been a nice gesture. The beds were comfy and very clean, carpets quite fresh too, but the rest of the two adjoining rooms were manky. I dont care if its not a fancy hotel. I paid ninety pounds for one night and expect to be treated with enough respect that the room has been cleaning and not falling to peices. Breakfast fine. One dirty glass on table I sent back. Seemed clean enough.

Room Tip: Pick another hotel as the pictures on here are not what was in our two rooms.

When looking for a hotel for our family of 6 in blackpool we did struggle. So when we decided on the new osbourne, based on other reviews, i was still worried we wouldnt have much room. I should not of worried, plenty of room for 2 adults, a teenager, an 8 yr old, 3 yr old and a 6month in a travel cot, which was also supplied saving us car space!

The owner was very friendly and helpful and made it seem like nothing was a problem and we felt very welcome. Lots of choice for breakfast, which was delicious too. Also a games room for the children with a pool table.

No doubt that the next time we visit blackpool we will ring here first!!! Thankyou xxx

Had a fantastic stay, the staff are top class. The room was what we payed for, the breakfast was so good one of the best breakfasts we have had in ages. The hotel is in the ideal location as we came for the pleasure beach. We will be returning!

decided we needed a short break to get over the winter blues, looked on the internet for somewhere that wouldn't break the bank and found a jem in this hotel, stayed Monday till Friday for less than you could expect to pay for one night in a seafront hotel, the hotel was situated less than fifty yards of the prom adjacent to the pleasure beach.Mathew the proprietor had only recently taken over the hotel and was doing affine job of getting it back to a really good standard lovely en-suite rooms, excelent breakfast nothing to much trouble, you only had to ask .we were two couples of pension age and we were both very impressed,so much so we went back a couple of months later and Mathew sorted us out with a very good deal as returning guests

Room Tip: front rooms have better views

The room we stayed in was old and dated and in need of a freshen up. The shower had 2 settings scalding or cold, on the first night we only had no hot water. Bathroom no the cleanest.

There never seemed to be anyone about in the hotel and to check in we had to go in search of someone in the kitchen.

There was quite a lot of noise in the early hours from other guests but this us Blackpool after all.

On the positive side The full English Breakfast was good, ideal location for south shore, pleasure beach etc and it's cheap...ideal if your on a night out and just need somewhere to rest your head.

Many thanks for taking the time to share your opinion with our future guests. We are rather disappointed that you have not rated us more positively. You have rightly said that it is cheap and no frills, which is what you would expect when you book our compact double room at only £42 a night including our fabulous breakfast which in itself is worth well over £10.
We are very truthful in advertising this room as small compared to our other standard and deluxe rooms, however all our rooms are en-suite which we take as a priority over size.

Booked in at The New Osborne for a weekend break and was not disappointed.

On arrival we managed to park on the road outside the hotel and were greeted by the owners dad Peter. We were shown to our room then went for a walk along the sea front. We met Matt the owner when we got back and sat and chatted with him and his dad. What lovely friendly people !

We had a lovely nights sleep, very quiet room as I am a light sleeper and very comfy bed and soft pillows.

We went down for breakfast the following morning and the staff were really jolly and friendly. The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous and so much choice !

After going out for the day we returned for a drink in the bar with Matt, John the chef and Jenny the waitress. What a fun bunch they are !!

We then went over to the Horseshoe bar at the pleasure beach to see Ken Webster the illusionist. What an amazing show, made even better when Matt become one of the volunteers. OMG he was absolutely hilarious !! My stomach muscles are still hurting through laughing so much.

Another great nights sleep and gorgeous breakfast topped off the weekend.

All in all this is a lovely little hotel with great staff and I would definitely recommend. Can't wait to return. Thank you Matt, Peter, John, Jenny and all the staff for making our stay one to remember xxx
