Twisted Indian Street Food Blackpool
Ranked #8 of 870 Restaurants in Blackpool
Certificate of Excellence
Price range: £15 - £40
Description: We are Twisted street food where traditional meets modern where global meets desi and where being twisted is absolutely normal. The vision behind the name is to showcase the wide variety of flavours and what can be made of them with a bit of creativity. Why? Because being normal is boring. Put a little twist on things and they get really interesting so do Our dishes. When we say we do traditional we mean it. Our traditional curries taste just the way they should without the added preservatives or flavours. Originality is another thing that makes us twisted.

We were visiting Blackpool for dancing at the fabulous Tower Ballroom and found this place for a birthday dinner. We all think of ourselves as curry connoisseurs, but my partner is Nepalese and really appreciated the authentic lamb curry & pilau rice, which reminded of home cooking! It turns out the chef is also Nepalese, so this explains why all the food we had was fantastic and the staff very friendly and helpful. We also had Chicken, Vegetable & Lamb Biryani which was mouth watering. We are also used to fantastic South Indian food from Masala Zone in London and several in Brighton (Indian Summer), so it's wonderful to find another great place which we will visit again when next in Blackpool. Most highly recommended !
