Stayed here for one night over the bank holiday weekend. It's also an Indian restaurant but you can't smell it when you get to your room despite what some reviewers have said. The room we had (13) had a lovely sea view and was clean and basic but ok. None of the light fittings had anything other than an energy saving bulb and the light in the bathroom was pretty poor. There was electricians tape where a light used to be?!

Location wise it would be perfect for the pleasure beach but is a bit of a walk to get to the pubs etc. it didnt matter so much through the day as there was plenty to see/do on the walk but at the night we got taxis there and back (£5 there and £7 back)

If you drive you have to leave your car keys at reception due to lack of parking available but this wasn't really a problem.

Overall it was pretty much what we expected from a hotel in Blackpool.

OK hotel for a night or a couple of nights in Blackpool, we found the room clean and the staff helpful and the breakfast OK.

Room Tip: had to leave your car keys at receiption but this was no problem

Myself and my partner booked this hotel after seeing it on booking.com. From the pictures it looked nice and modern and the price was reasonable. Unfortunately the pictures do this hotel too much justice.
Upon arriving at the hotel it seemed to be locked, then from nowhere two men pulled up in a bmw and let us in after rudely telling me to move my car 2 parking spaces over, no idea why. The hotel is also a Pakistani/Indian all you can eat buffet, and as soon as you walk through the door you know it. The smell hits you. I like Indian food, but this was all over the hotel including in the room. The restaurant actually looked quite nice and clean, unlike the room. Our room was room “13” unlucky for some.
So as we walked into our "DELUXE ROOM" the only deluxe thing about this room was the view of the sea. If you could make it out through the dirty windows. There was a value wardrobe and side tables. A table by the window with no chair, a little square mirror on the wall at waist height. Some tea and coffee sachets scattered on the table and a kettle already half full with water. There were 2 lights in the room, one on the ceiling and one on the wall above the bed. These were just energy saving light bulbs, no shade or anything.

To get to the bathroom you had to squeeze between the bed and the wardrobe. The bathroom itself was a disgrace. Mouldy tiles, mouldy shower curtain. The shower tray edges were black. The bathroom is beyond cleaning, it just needs ripping out and starting again. Above the mirror was a loose wire with electrical tape over it, obviously where a light had once been, but hey, why replace it, electrical tape does the job just as well. Believe it or not, you can still smell the restaurant up the stairs, in your room and in the bathroom. The room was dirty to some degree in every part you wanted to check, I could go on but you get the picture. Cleanliness is a basic requirement for any hotel.

They do say you get what you pay for. However at by the beach you actually get less.
