Me and my girlfriemd booked this hotel just for one night. We stayed just to see the lights and see the attractions etc. We didn't get there until 6.30pm but after a quick check in with the friendly staff we headed to our room. A very small and basic room with a double bed which was comfy enough and a small bathroom. Shower was decent. Wasn't the cleanest room and we didn't have a view but for a one night stay we had no complaints. Didn't have enought toilet roll though. Very modern hotel with young staff and the bar area looked very snazzy and again very modern. Hotel just past the pleasure beach so it's a great hotel for that. For the money we paid we had no complaints. Simple but very decent. For a one night stay I'd stay therer again but not for more than one night.

By the Beach hotel, cheap, cheerfull, ok, the hotel is easely found has good parking, and is right opposite a tram stop just past the pleasure beach, exelent location for exploring Blackpool. The hotel its self is clean, a very comfortuble bed, goodsize room and adequate onsuit shower/toilet, adequate room facilities ie; tea/coffee and tv etc, very friendly and helpfull staff, would definately go back and reccomend it for a short break, very good value for money, only one downside, that is the breakfast is poor, better to book room only and eat out. J W.

Room Tip: the front of hotel room was very good (room 13 ha ha no joke)

the room was quite alright for what we paid. The only down fall is that you can hear everything the person is saying in the next room. The staff were far from welcoming and we was made to feel like we were putting them out. Great for a short walk to the pleasure beach. How ever we won't be returning to this hotel!!

Booked for one night for my husbands 30th birthday weekend away with our family and wish we hadn't of bothered! The website is pictures are very misleading and the hotel is nothing like the photos. The room we had was like a cupboard, the bed linen was awful, stains, blood and hairs all over the duvet. The walls were damp and the bathroom was mouldy! The breakfast was equally as bad, the milk was off, the butter was left out open and the food containers were dirty! How this hotel is open - god knows! The staff didn't speak English - it was awful!

Room Tip: Book a Premier Inn or Travel Lodge - at least you know what to expect!

Just stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend for 1 night and thought the hotel was really good value for money. The rooms are small, but what do you expect for £30 a night? The room was spotless and plenty big enough for the two of us. We actually got a double bed as well instead of two single beds pushed together which was nice. If you're staying for a few days it could get claustrophobic but if you're in Blackpool for a holiday you should probably be experiencing the attractions outside rather than staying stuck in all day.

The bathroom had no window but the lights were perfectly fine, we didn't encounter any problems. As for the bedroom window view, we were looking out over the main road so nothing very interesting to see but we didn't spend long in the hotel room.

One thing people with cars need to know is that you need to hand your car keys to the staff on arrival because the car park is laid out so cars at the front can be blocked in by cars behind them, so staff may need to move your car if need be. If you're uncomfortable with this you'll need to find pay and display parking nearby.

We had breakfast the next morning before we checked out and it was very nice, around £10 for the two of us including tea/coffee and orange juice and the portions were generous.

I would recommend this hotel to couples staying 1/2 nights but the room we stayed in would probably be too small for more than two people (I am assuming there are bigger rooms for families). Location-wise it's a short walk from all the attractions including Blackpool Pleasure Beach which was the main reason for our trip so we didn't have to walk for miles.

Booked in for one night, fortunatley !! On check in we were told our room number, up 2 flights stairs, no lift so not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties. Our room was one of the smallest I have seen, there was a small wardrobe but the door wouldnt open fully as it banged into the wardrobe. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were lumpy. We had a wander round Blackpool in the afternoon, came back to the hotel for a rest and to get ready for a night out but the walls were very thin and we could hear everything through them from the next room so decided not to bother and checked out and came home.
There are plenty of good value B and B's which offer much better value than this hotel and we would not recommend this hotel
