We booked this through an online website, and only my mrs viewed the pictures so I didn't know what to expect. Check in isn't until 2pm, and we arrived at around 11am and they let us park the car outside until we were ready, which was good.

When we were given the keys, the guy didn't really say much, as though he wasn't bothered. We went up to our room which was out the way at the end of a corridor - so nice and quiet. On entering the room we were quite impressed. All looked very clean/tidy, beds made, clean towels etc. The view was well....diabolical. However this is clearly not the hotels fault, The hot water takes an age to get hot, the shower trickles - but that may be because I am used to a power-shower at home? The chair for the table was broken. There was chewing gum on the outside window sills.

We wanted to pop out for a meal and left at about 18.30. As soon as we opened the door, the smell of indian food was very over powering. When we went to move the car we were blocked in, but this wasn't a problem as the guy on reception soon moved the other car out the way. There is a sign stating that if you block others in, leave your keys at reception or park on a pay and display. Hmmm, no thanks to leaving my keys. I luckily managed to park about 100 yds up the road opposite some other B&Bs situated back from the road.

So all in all, it wasn't a bad place to stay. Not fantastic, but it did the job - and only cost £40 for a family of 4

This is my very first internet review for anything. I have realised that reviews are great for others, and I am always taking them into consideration for things I do.

Its a shame they don't offer full service in off peak like other sea front hotels do. Still paid full price but restaurant not open and bar area shut really early. Also served peppers and onion with the full English. Which was weird.

We stayed here for 4 nights over the New Year 2012/13 - we are not fussy people but could not have stayed in the room we were allocated it was tiny (for 2 adults and 1 child) with a very small shower i don't think i would have been able to fit in the shower - se we went back to reception and the staff were very friendly and moved us quickly to another room - it wasn't quite ready as they didn't expect an arrival so we went to explore and returned in a short while to look at the room (to be honest my hopes weren't very high due to the first room) but i was pleasantly surprised this room was much larger and had a fantastic view of the sea but more importantly i could fit into the shower : )
The major plus points for this hotel is it's free on-site parking which we struggled to find on the main drag, it has a tram and bus stop outside the hotel so great for sight-seeing without having to move your car and the friendly staff.
We did try breakfast which was extra but unfortunately would not and did not have it again!!
The rooms are small but typical to what we've experienced in Blackpool but clean, warm and very comfortable especially for the bargain price we paid.
We will definately return to this hotel again!!!

Room Tip: We had room 22 which was on the 2nd floor (with no lift and very steep staircases to manouvre) but w...

We Booked a Twin room single bed for £49 was the last one i could find in blackpool i was going to be aviveing after 12am so i called to ask if this would be ok they was fine with this and very friendly staff on the other end of the phone ,When arriveing we was very hurgary but the restraurtant was not open so the hotel man adived us where to go which very nice off him he got us cheaked very quickly and he was very nice to us on arrive , We was in room 23 i was very impressed the room was clean and had a lovey sea view faceing the bench was lovely to woke up too,After think i would revice a 3 singles bed i was very happy to find one double and 2 singles the bed was very nice to sleep in the room was nicey decarated only a few problem nothing that made out say bad or got in our way but there was a bit of damp in the in the room in corner by bed and it had been painted other but it had spread & also was a little disaponited with breakfast it was only £4,95 so very cheap so we thought why not it was very basic beans, egg, sagages and some ononin and peppers but we expected a bit for as we allways enjoy a blackpool breakfast and one pet hate is not being asked what il like on my breakfast justed being given to us.one other thing we found some staff friendly and other a bit sky and a bit like they was not sure what to say but overall very good.

Room Tip: Room was on Seconed Floor romm 23 lovely bigish room with lovely sea viiw (Was not requested)

our second stay at this holiday again for one night to see the lights, smaller room than last time and with no view this time, small room, clean and warm, breakfast was better than last time. Exactly what you expect for the money and fine for one or two nights.
