“Good stay in Blackpool”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 September 2013 via mobile

Great location, on the front, but away from the busy part. This hotel is a good three star. Rooms reasonable size, facilities good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good and filling. I am always wary at staying somewhere I have not stayed at before, especially in the likes of Blackpool where quality can vary quite a lot. This hotel is good clean and friendly so I will stay again. Blackpool the town its self though is looking a bit tired, needs a lick of paint and a spruce up a bit....sign of the times. Anyway the hotel is good

Great location just past the North Pier. Near enough to the rail station and attractions, but far away from all the noise. Right opposite the tram stop. Excellent value for money, especially as we had a sea view. Room was very clean with a huge bathroom and lots of hot water, and the bed was very comfy and we slept soundly. Definitely a hotel for business travellers and older couples who wish to have a bit of peace and quiet. No rowdy drunks. Having a zero tolerance to smoking certainly an asset. We didn't have an evening meal there, but I can vouch for the breakfast. There was lots to choose from, and the young waiter was very attentive. Sunday was very cold, and although the heating wasn't yet on, they happily brought us a heater for our room. The reception wasn't the friendliest I've encountered, except for the Russian lady. However, they were there all the time and willing to sort out any problems and offer any help. Would certainly come back to this hotel if I visited Blackpool again, and you can always rely on the Best Western brand of hotels.

i have just returned from a night in this hotel, to be honest i was expecting a bit more for a best western.
i was staying in a single room which felt like a cupboard with a frosted glass window so couldn't see out, not that was there much of a view anyway but it was clean, although i noticed water marks on the wall from a leak or something?! the bathroom was clean and had clean towels.
The breakfast was good, it was your typical choice of a cooked breakfast, cereal and yougurts.
The hotel location was on the sea front but be prepared to walk or catch a tram (tram stop across from the hotel) if your wanting to the pleasure beach but its easily a couple of miles but it is a nice easy walk along the sea front.
I wouldn't not book the hotel again, but it would need to be at a better price from what i paid, it was clean with friendly staff, i was just expecting a bit more for a best western.

We got there last room and they were concerned we would not be comfortable. It was great and good value for money. They had good dinning options. Breakfast was included and was all fresh and great selection even made point of getting my partner full cream milk which for some unknown reason is hard to find in this part of the world

I previously stayed valentines weekend here and because of the great experience i had we decided to stay here again at beginning of August, this time returning with two extra people.
However the rooms were leaking down the walls due to heavy rain on first day and our friends room was creaking ever so loudly due to wind. But, and there is a but, the breakfast was VERY nice, a great buffet service, along with good bar area and evening service.
Hotel would make use of some entertainment though as both visits we were venturing out both nights to other events.
Good staff, Good parking facilities and good food. Quiet location.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are larger
