We booked a family superior room for the 2 of us and our 3 children and were not disappointed,it was lovely the kids loved the separate little area with their bunk beds and their own tellys, 1 each which was fab, the rooms are spotless and lovely sized the tea/coffee facilities were good and plenty of them, breakfast was lovely ad the dining room was nice too.
People have put its a bit pricey an could get premier inn and all the other chains for half the price but when we priced them up it wasn't a massive difference to say many of the chains don't give breakfast within the price, the kids area in the rooms definitely made the difference for us

Really comfortable room with excellent facilities. The most enjoyable part was the restaurant.A really interesting menu with very well cooked food. The staff were very attentive and helpful. I would definitely use this hotel again. It is very near to the Pleasure Beach but this was not a problem at this time of the year. It is easy to find and there is plenty of parking.

This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel, myself and husband and my daughter and her husband. we had a lovely time the hotel the rooms were very clean, the staff were very helpful the breakfast was very nice a very good choice, my only complaint was there was a singer of sorts on at another hotel across the road and it was quite loud and went on till after 11pm. But never mind we still had a good time and we would go again

Just returned from a two night break staying at the Big Blue Hotel. Had previously stayed here a few years ago and now returned with two young children. Superior Family Room was great and suited our needs perfectly. Room was very clean and comfortable the view over Pleasure Beach was novel and our daughter enjoyed having her own space within the room encompassing bed, TV etc. Found staff in hotel extremely friendly and happy to accommodate needs of a young family. There was a slight queue for breakfast on Sat morning but only for 5 mins and no real hardship. We also had one evening meal in the hotel which was excellent. Free entrance into Pleasure Beach was a nice bonus. All in all great base for a short family break in Blackpool.

Just stayed here with my girlfriend for her Birthday.

We loved the hotel and cant complain abotu anything. The room was really nice and warm with a good view of the pleasure beach.

The staff were helpful and friendly, even the cleaners were cheerful which is rare. We are 100% going to return here as it felt so homely and comfortable.

Thank you!!

We booked with booking.com for one night. An amazing night in 4* hotel that should be a 5*

The staff are check were so easy, happy, lovely, polite

We went to our room to be amazed for the price, with a large perfect bathroom, a little fire, dvd player, beautiful decor and comfy bed. Perfect, we went to use the wifi, not an issue at all; passsword and username given to us from reception.

Communication lovely, breakfast lovely, room lovely.

Do not book with pleasure beach until you get to the hotel, its only £5 with the hotel. Its £20 online, and £35 if you pay when your there. We didnt know so we booked online.

Loads of things to do there is a waterpark about two mins away, the amazing pleasure beach that could beat alton towers with the rides and day out to be honest, amusments, blackpool tower, pier, illuminations, beach in summer, etc.

the car park in hotel is free which is good in blackpool, go there its massive and lovely

we looked at prices for 4 nights on booking.com at different dates, your would be looking at £100-£200 each in double deluxe in november for a two bedroomed adult room. think its only a little more for a double deluxe with two childrens bunkbeds.

Great for young couples, old couples, familys, groups etc.

would recommend to anyone

AMAZING

We had a family room, for two adults & two children aged 8 & 5. Booking in was very easy and staff were friendly.
The Mattress for the main bed in our family room was awful, really springy, and you could hear the springs everytime you turned over in bed. The bunk beds were very small for the children, and would have been better with two single beds
The pillows were too high for my liking.
Breakfast was ok, but their was no mushrooms, black pudding or poached eggs, and for the money you pay, you would expect to have all the above choices available.
Certainly not value for money.
