“Great weekend”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 December 2013

Had lovely weekend staying at this hotel. Food in restaurant was very good, service excellent and staff helpful and friendly. Room was clean, warm & comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel but not Blackpool in general. Was really handy for trams and trains.

Room Tip: To avoid noise from pleasure beach request room on the south side.

Great, very clean hotel.
Stayed with young children and the family room is excellent. Buffet breakfast to die for...staff were very accommodating at bringing us veggie alternatives.
The hotel is ideal for pleasure beach and sandcastle but also not far from tram stop that can take you further afield.
Overall a very good stay and worth the money.

A lovely place with a friendly atmosphere. Rooms are well kept and the kids loved their own space and separate tellies.

The breakfasts were excellent and although it could get busy, waiting to go in and be seated, it was well organised and we never had to wait for more than 15 mins to be seated.

The restaurant was great, nice and modern, and the food delicious. Staff were great with the kids. During one meal my egg was over cooked and when I mentioned it to the waiter he apologised and did nothing about it. I found this to be disappointing. But they were then rescued by the headwaiter asking if everything was ok and when I explained to him he apologised and immediately went and got another egg - which was perfect!

Although it was a little pricy I would go back again.

We stayed in a family room for one night and it was perfect. The hotel has been renovated and is modern and looks good. Family rooms have bunk beds, a king size and a sofa bed, play stations tvs and very comfy beds. The rooms overlook the pleasure beach roller coaster which could be fun in summer.

During the busy season there are loads of restaurants near by but off season you may have to go up the promenade.

Great family place to crash. Will stay again.

A good clean hotel, comfy bed and friendly staff. A rather alarmingly close roller-coaster shooting right past my window but thankfully closed during winter or that could have been disturbing.

Bathroom smelled of damp but aside from that it was fine.

the vending machine and one of the lifts was out of order for all of our 24 hr stay..and the wifi was not working most of the time either.
thats where the bad news ends..this is a classy comfortable well positioned hotel that is good value for money and the breakfast is the best we have had in the uk.
free newspapers, freindly staff and we got the exact room we wanted.
be warned blackpool virtually closes down in the winter possibly till xmas.

Room was good but smaller than I expected given we had booked a delux room.

Had dinner in the restaurant food was good value for money but restaurant lacked atmosphere.
Would stay again but only if I was going to the pleasure beach

Room Tip: Ask for one facing the park
