Amazing hotel, had a 1 night stay with my boyfriend for our anniversary. Staff are very helpful, the room was spotless and very modern. We had a great view of the rides from our window, roller coasters going by every 5 minutes I loved it! The breakfast was one of the best I have had at a B&B, so much choice and REAL fruit juice, none of that horrible bitty stuff, proper juice, so good! All in all great stay, parking at the hotel is very handy too (Until 1PM on the day of your departure)

Omg this hotel is the best of the best. Went there last week with my daughter 2 granddaughters and a friend a the train station was right outside so we only had to walk over the road. the bedrooms were fantastic my daughter had a massive bed to herself and bunks for the girls which I have never known . the restuarant was second to none offering the girls to make their own pizza and because we were late from the pleasure beach they changed the times for us twice without a word of complaint. It's not expensive either cause you get your pleasure beach tickets cheaper and the breakfast is amazing. Already booking for October for the lights. we did have fantastic weather which made our stay complete

Stayed at this hotel with my three sons, two adult sons had one room, and my younger son and myself booked into another room. We were upgraded to two family rooms when checking in. Which was much appreciated. The staff are very friendly. The food spot on. And the rooms very clean, no complaints whatsoever. We were able to skip queues for pleasure beach by entering via side entrance courtesy of the hotel. I stayed at the Hilton last year, but I would say that the Big Blue hotel as exceeded my expectations, and will always check into this hotel. All in all very happy with my stay as were my sons.

What a lovely clean hotel. Very friendly polite staff and nice to see so many local people being employed. Breakfast was good quality and plenty of choice. The views over the pleasure beach was an amazing experience, watching people on the rides and even the staff checking them all in the morning before the park opened was really interesting. The whole point of this hotel, in my opinion, is the proximity to the pleasure beach and the views in to the park. So, if the fun fair isn't your idea of interesting you may want to ask for a room that looks over the road (if there are any). To me all the views looked interesting.

Room Tip: High floors give good views over the pleasure beach.
