We went to the tower ballroom on a couple of occasions, we can only describe the ambiance as magical. We only viewed as spectators and not dancers, but the whole experience is just amazing, seeing the Wurlitzer organ the wonderful dancing going on by ordinary people, ( not a show) we were in awe of the music everything about it was just amazing. This was our first visit to the tower ballroom, but if and when we return to blackpool it would definitely be on our must see list again, and it's FREE to just go and view.

On 7th December me and my wife and another couple went to the soul and Motown night at the tower ballroom it was 12.50 each and when we entered the ballroom we discovered that there were no tables left and large queues for both bars the seating upstairs was like a cinema with no tables and very snmall seats. The music was excellent however because of the lack of seats and tables we could not stop in and therefore wasted our money, the organisation was very poor and all the management were concerned about was packing as many people in as possible to increase the takings.i shall not be going again and hope this is a good guideline to many people.

As ballroom and sequence social dancers we have visited the Blackpool Tower Ballroom many times. It's a magical place to dance, full of nostalgia. Afternoon tea is to be recommended but whether you go to dance or to watch the dancing you can't fail to enjoy this world famous ballroom with the famous Wurlitzer organ, the beautiful ornate decoration and the ambience. Enjoy!
