“Clean, homely and very welcoming.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 September 2013

Stopped here for four nights, a bit of a treat to see the local sights and the illuminations for my old Mum!! We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and until the moment we left. Loved the breakfast order slips each evening, made things so much easier and a great way on cutting down on wasteage. This is an old building that's very well looked after, it's clean and tidy, and in the quieter part of town, it's got bumps and bruises here and there, but it's loved and lived in. We were very impressed with the groundfloor room too as Mum cannot easily use the stairs. We will certainly be going back.

Stayed here with my husband and little boy who is 3. We stayed Wednesday to Friday. When we arrived we were made to feel really welcome. The owner went out of her way to make sure my son was at ease. We stayed in room 10 and the room was very clean and looked as though it had been recently decorated. Breakfast was fab a great start to a busy day in Blackpool. This hotel is ideally situated for the tram stop at Gynn Square and a bit quieter than the south shore with ample on street parking. Excellent hotel and reasonable we had a great stay and we will be back when we visit Blackpool again.

This was our second visit to this hotel, my husband and I took our daughter and her two children for a short break. This hotel is very peaceful during the evening so the children did not get disturbed at night. There is a park opposite the hotel which the children enjoyed playing in until the adults were ready to go out. Both rooms were freshly decorated and the shower rooms were clean and bright. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and welcoming. There is tea and coffee making facilities in each room and they are re- stocked each morning by the staff. They leave a breakfast menu in your room each day for you to fill in for the following morning so you have exactly what you want to eat each day, (the menu is for a hot breakfast)if you want something different to what is on the list it is worth asking as they do their best to accomodate all needs, my daughter and I are vegetarian and they catered our breakfasts around that. There is a good selection of cereals, fruit juices, and fresh fruit and they ask you whether you want tea / coffee and supply you with brown/white toast. If you want a meal during the day they have a menu to choose from and there is a bar for the adults if they fancy a drink. This hotel is definetly worth a visit if you want to stay in Blackpool and not be disturbed by all the noise going on in the middle of the town. It is a short drive or tram ride away from the hustle and bustle of the town or if you are happy to walk you only need to walk down to the beach area and there is a lovely walk along the promenade to the piers and the shops.

Room Tip: Contact the hotel direct to see what rooms are on offer. The family room which has a double bed and...
