The Cliffs hotel has been our favourite Blackpool hotel for a few years now and with the upgrade of the restaurant and many of its bedrooms it has got even better. We look forward to our next stay in August with all our family. Well done Choice hotels

Very nice staff and great value, like the new dining room! Can be very noisy in lower rooms above show bar so if your going for piece n quiet check with reception 1st. Best time to go I find is mid week and you can chill in the leisure centre without to much madness

Spent an excellent long weekend break at the Cliffs at the start of April. We had booked a Grand National Weekend break. The hotel has recently refurbished the dining area and the cafe bar and lounge - both very good improvements to the hotel.
Our room was on the 3rd floor and was adequate for our needs. Soft but comfortable bed and the bathroom, although on the small side, was still adequate for our needs.
The meals were excellent with the starters and sweets on buffet style basis. The standard of the buffet were as good as any hotels we have stayed in. The main meal was on a table service basis from an excellent menu choice.
The entertainment was also very good and provision made for the kids prior to the main entertainment.
As usual with the Cliffs, the car parking can be difficult to secure a location in the front of the hotel that allows you to leave the car for the full weekend without needing to move - a minor issue and one that is dealt with efficiently by the hotel staff.
All in all and excellent value break supported by very efficient and helpful, friendly staff.
We can certainly recommend this hotel.

Weekend with elderly parents who just love these sort of places and why not? OK our room wasn't the best but then it's only for sleeping in and for the money it's great value.
We used the small gym, pool and sauna when it was quiet on the Friday afternoon and teatime Saturday. The food was of a good quality and plenty of it.
Some of the public areas are a bit shabby but the cocktail bar was very pleasant and drinks were fairly priced. We were with a party of guests and some of them did suffer from drunks shouting in the corridors so I have marked down sleep quality to reflect this. I don't think they reported it to night reception until the next day so maybe something would have been done about it.

I spent a week end at thsi hotel recently for a hen do and it was great. the person who organised the week end got agroup discount so we paid less the normal £50 rate a night. we had an evening meal and breakfast included. I had a single room which wasn't the best location being near the staff lift on the first floor but was very confortable and surprisingly quiet. the room was very clean and so was the bathroom, the bed was very confortable. one of my friends had a sea view room and oit was really nice and a good size.

Breakfast was lovely, not the highest quality I have seen but excellent value for money and the stations were refilled very quickly.
the evening meal was ok. you can help yourself to starters and then pick a main and choose again from several puddings.
the staff were very friendly and always had a smile on and making jokes.
the spa area was quite nice too with a small sauna a decent size pool and a lovely jacuzzi. you also got free wi-fi, so for a bargain week end I would recommend it. there were lots of families and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. the location is a bit more out from the center, so nice and quiet and there is a tram stop just outside so very practicle.

Room Tip: ask for seaview

Just spent two nights at the cliffs, what a transformation in the dining room much better now you can help yourself at breakfast and dinner times.entertainment still good and bar prices are ok. The rooms are clean and tidy, the only down side is the toilet is far to close to the bath. Time to make up dates on that area now cliffs.for my needs I would of liked a shower room not bath as I can't use one as disabled.
