another excellent stay at the cliffs the new dining experience and décor of the newly sited area is spot on all of our party thought it worked very well and the choice was varied also.the service was up to the standard we have come to expect at this hotel.the entertainment was the usual mix of singers/ comedians terry cotta was very good even though he was on before the children left he told some really funny stories which had the kids laughing along with us oldies! we will return again

This is my eighth stay at the Cliffs and it continues to be good value for money. I am not totally happy with the changes in the meals, the self service breakfast is excellent, self service for starters and desserts is also fine, the quality and choices of the main course seems to be less than before and it is all served plated up complete with veg, for those with a small appetite this can be over facing I much prefer the main course meat to be served plated and the veg placed on the table so one can help oneself.
I missed the Dolly Bar for pre dinner drinks, the happy hour prices in the main bar do not compare to the price we have paid before in the Dolly Bar.
Entertainment once again was varied, I just wish that the performers were able to adjust the volume switch down as well as up.

Room Tip: Having only one lift can be a problem at busy times, I prefer the higher floor and on the side rather that the front, previously stayed in the rooms at the front and at this time of the year with the wind and the rain they were colder and noisier.

We have been staying at the Cliffs for many years, this was the first time with the new dining experience and it was excellent, food fabulous with a good choice, puds to die for ! All the new refurbishments have made a great hotel even better. We stayed in a sea view room which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Staff all very friendly, another great stay, we will be back again.

Absolutely FANTASTIC. Everything & everybody wonderful.
One thing in the dining room needs changing & that is the coffee at breakfast. It was very weak & had a peculiar taste. But that is all!!We will be back.

Room Tip: rooms with sea view. 334 335
