This has been about the 4th time that I have stayed at the Windsor House and yet again everything was fantastic. We were a group of 11 celebrating a 30th Birthday and all had a variety of different rooms which were all extremely clean, comfortable and cosy - exactly what was required for this break.
I would definately reccomend paying a little extra for the premier doubles as they were well worth it - featuring a hi-fi system and sofa, however standard doubles etc are just as nice and I can honestly say that I received no complaints from my friends about rooms which were booked. Everyone was extremely happy (which is usually hard to achieve with a wide variety of people)
Breakfast was piping hot and cooked to order which meant a nice relaxing atmosphere, where you didnt feel rushed to just eat and leave the restaraunt, plenty of toast, juice, jam, tea and coffee was on offer - nothing was too much trouble and we certainly didnt feel a burden asking for anything.
The customer service at this hotel is excellent Paul, the owner, literally cannot do enough for you to make sure your stay is nothing short of brilliant and yet does this in such a professional way. On arrival he asked if we would like breakfast a little later, which suited everyone just fine and on check out he even let a few of us keep our rooms a little longer than normal in order for us to enjoy that last few hours in Blackpool, even if it was just to nurse our hangovers!! This is well above and beyond what was expected and goes to show that the Windsor House Hotel does really go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay
. -Overall I was extremeley happy with this hotel and would definately reccommend it to anyone wanting a pleasant stay in Blackpool
