Just had a 4 night family stay on a B&B basis at The Headlands hotel. The Staff are friendly, our room was a tad small for a family room but very clean with towels provided, and room serviced every other day. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty as was the evening meal ( £12.50 for a 3 course meal). Our son enjoyed the games room with the snooker table, darts board and the Playstations. Great location, good free car park and great food. Would definately stay here again.

My wife and I have been visiting The Headlands Hotel for many years - often 2 or 3 times a year. It is extremely friendly and the staff are very attentive and welcoming. The family owning the hotel cannot do enough for you, no matter how long you are staying.
The location is ideal...just across from the tram service ( no need to worry about noisy trams as they are all new and extremely quiet ). The Pleasure Beach is within easy reach but, because The Headlands is situated between it and Starr Gate, you would think it was much further away.
Overall, excellent value for money.

Room Tip: Ask for sea-facing

very friendly staff, clean and tidy. A pool table and computer rooms and computer games for the younger ones. Drinks fairly priced. Good parking. Good food. was only 10 mins walk from pleasure beach.Get a family tram pass for £9 hop on and off all day. Would definately recommend it.

We want three things from a holiday hotel. First and foremost cleanliness of the highest quality. Second, excellent food. Third, friendly and helpful staff. The Headlands in Blackpool has been reliably delivering on these for us for over twenty years. Yes, the bedroom furniture and fittings are ageing--just like us. Yes, the menu choices are less than they used to be--but there is still choice and small requested changes are accommodated without fuss or bother, and with a willing smile. Yes, the decoration could be updated in the public spaces--but they are immaculately clean and highly functional. And, a Mars Bar and many other products are not what they once were. This is simply because businesses have to balance cost, price and value in order to stay in business by satisfying customers at a price that makes them a profit. Walking around Blackpool and especially in the South Shore area shows clear indication that many hotels have failed to achieve the necessary balance. We are grateful that the owners of The Headlands continue to achieve this and so we know where to stay when we arrange our annual visit to Blackpool. Long may that continue and thanks to all the staff for another excellent experience this year.

Room Tip: Rooms on the front of the hotel give an excellent view of the sea with, believe it or not, an occasional stunning sunset.

The Headlands hotel is a friendly, family run hotel which gives every care and consideration to all ages, the food, facilities and rooms are wonderful and no request is ever too much trouble. We have been coming to this hotel as a family and now in our sixties as a couple for over 20 years and will continue to do so-long may it reign!

Room Tip: The rooms with a sea view are lovely but the others are equally as good facility wise.
