I have stayed at the Headlands several times over the years but hadn't been for over two years. It was very pleasing to see improvements with the interior decor and facilities. This hotel is clearly thriving and now attracts a mix of people of all ages. The breakfast has improved and evening meals are the same reliable quality. Owner Sue is extremely helpful, attentive and friendly.Excellent sea views from here at this attractive end of town, away from the commotion and hustle-bustle, but still within easy reach of the attractions. A very relaxing place to stay.

I have stayed at this hotel many times, but not for a while. It was great to find that the staff were as friendly as ever and we were made so very welcome. I took friends this time and 2 of them require a gluten free diet. The kitchen coped with this more than admirably and without a fuss. It made all the difference to people who are used to having to out up with little/no choice and who are often made to feel awkward when eating out. The hotel is very child friendly. The meals are filling and good quality family food is served. The other guests were also welcoming and friendly.
Highly recommended, and excellent value.

We visited this nice hotel for one night to see the Blackpool lights.
We had 3 dogs with us and 3 rooms between us. We were made very welcome at home.
The rooms were great as was the overall ambiance, the lift in itself is classic and fascinating as was the revolving entrance door.
The bar was great for me and even better for the "day out primark shoppers" as tea and biscuits were served in the lounge at no cost.
Although very windy at the time of the impending storm, we enjoyed this hotel.
The breakfast was great, all that you may expect...full English with eggs of your choice, juice and cereal of your choice.

Great hotel and not surprised at the Award from Trip..

Russell

This was our first visit to the Headlands, and we were extremely pleased with our choice. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and efficient, and the food was plentiful and tasty. The evening entertainment was first class, professional and eager to involve the clientele to ensure their enjoyment. I'm sure we'll be going again.

Room Tip: Corner rooms usually come with both a bath and shower, and have dual aspects over the promenade and beach.
