Very affable staff ,good management , food very good , well located , will definitely be back next year , one complaint , a pint of orange and water was 2 pounds which is imo overpriced as was the coke . Restaurant staff were very efficient and very helpful , my regards to Lee , a delightful young lady who was superb

Room Tip: try for a sea view .

Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Park House hotel, it was our first visit but won't be the last. Nice to have traditional service instead of the usual buffet. Breakfast was good, the waiters and waitresses very friendly and efficient, even though there were 3 coach parties in the hotel service was quick and the food nice and hot. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming which made our stay very enjoyable. Thankyou.

Stayed at the hotel for three nights 11th October. my husband and i were visiting relatives in St. Annes. Our room on the first floor was quite dark and old fashioned, but clean and comfortable. The vent outside the room was noisy before meal times, just like an aeroplane taking off! The food was very good and the restaurant staff were very helpful and attentive. It was a shame that the bar staff were not so pleasant. We complained that we could not sleep because of the noise from the ballroom, and were told that it was an entertainment hotel and we should have requested a quiet room. Making it seem that it was our fault.! If I were to stay at this hotel again i would certainly request a quiet room with a view.

Room Tip: Go for a higher room well away from the ballroom.

We have stayed @ this hotel several times travelling by coach with a party, but there is plenty of car parking. The hotel is on the North Shore promenade in a quiet area, away from hustle and bustle. The tram and bus stops are just outside. The hotel is kept very clean but the decor is looking tired. You cannot creep up on any one because the floor boards creek and the corridor floors slope, and the dining room has certainly got a sprung floor as the waiters/waitresses pass you,we bounced as we sat, service was a bit slow and lacked finesse,(need more training). The food was basic and nicely cooked, plenty of it.Our room on the first floor was small, again dated decor, dated TV,but clean. All staff very friendly and always help full. Entertainment is Bingo every night, cabaret, dancing, and one of the waiters joins in (very funny Simon)he deserves a mention.Already booked for next year.

Room Tip: 1st floor side sea view was ok ( could smell food cooking, slight noise from buses under windows if t...
