We stayed at the hotel as a birthday treat for my husband. We were in a pitch view room and my husbands jaw dropped when he first saw it. A totally unique hotel for football fans. The room was of a very high standard with great a large comfy bed. The staff were all lovely and extremely helpful. We had a few issues that were actually out of the hotels control but impacted our stay & the management swiftly dealt with it, coming to see us immediately and refunding our nights stay. Very professional & impressive. Thank you Blackpool fc. We had booked a stadium tour and this was great, very informative and enjoying. The breakfasts were more than adequate with plenty of choice freshly cooked for you. The memorabilia around the hotel was very good and the photos of Blackpool, old and new were excellent. A short walk takes you to the sea front and trams/buses. A
longer walk takes you to centre of Blackpool. All in all a brilliant stay & we will be returning.

This is a lovely, comfortable and very clean hotel above average for the standard expected
in Blackpool, the breakfast was standard could have done with more choice in the continental
lovely to sit and eat looking over the pitch. Rooms were spacious , pillows amazing. The

Stayed overnight at this fresh, interesting place. Got a family room overlooking the pitch which was OK for 2 adults + 2 kids. Room was set up well and comfortable enough for the 4 of us.

Staff were great, on arrival they identified that kids would probably like hot chocolates and organised for extras to be brought to the room. Breakfast next morning was regular hotel style and had something for everyone.

It is only a short walk to the beach and "the delights" of Blackpool. Would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Obviously, ask for a room overlooking the pitch.

Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Exceptionally clean and the staff could not be more helpful or polite. Food excellent. Rooms very comfortable and quiet. Short walking distance from beach. Will definitively use again.

Room Tip: Try to get one overlooking football pitch.

my wife and I finally found the parking area of this hotel 20 mins after arriving at the venue, We were told three times where we couldn't park then had to press a button to get through the final barrier! A friendly old man (Concierge) dressed in a uniform offered to carry our cases but I declined his offer on the grounds that he looked as if he might struggle. He escorted us via a lift to the reception area on the first floor. We told the receptionist that we had had a harassing journey and looked forward to relaxing in the advertised spa. She smilingly told us that the spa wasn't finished because the hotel hadn't been open long and quickly asked for my credit card. She wasn't unpleasant and later even brought some sweeteners to our room albeit quite some time after we had actually had our drink!! There are tea and coffee making facilities but no decaff tea AT ALL in the whole place.... not even at breakfast time in the smart, clean dining area that has a huge television and a view of the football pitch. If you don't like smoke don't sit too close to the pitch view because there is a smoking area accessed directly from the dining room and the wind blows the smoke into the room as well as howling around the place. The meals and service in the dining room were quite good and the service would have been excellent if we weren't continually pestered to have more drinks.
The room was on the top floor (as we had requested... so thank you!) and, indeed it was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The décor was akin to Fifty Shades of Brown!! However, the bed was very comfortable and if the glazing had been more adequate we could possibly have had a good nights sleep rather than have to listen to the traffic noise from the main road below.
I took a look at the gym which, as you might expect seemed very well equipped.
I have to say that for the price we paid this was a functional, clean place to stay overnight away from the main touristy glitz. The fact that it lacks character reflects the fact that it is basically a money-making football ground which has good corporate facilities. It was a unique experience for us and had we received an apology or refund for the lack of advertised facilities we would have felt more welcomed as individuals rather than just two more people who had booked in.
If you want anonymous, comfortable accommodation (without a spa yet) then this is the place for you.

Booked in advance for two nights as a birthday treat, paying the extra for a Pitch View.

Wine waiting and chilling in ice as requested.

Arrived at front and barrier to car park down. Friendly concierge / Porter let us in and guided us to Reception on the first floor. Hung around to carry the single bag to our room and showed us where the bathroom was (!) and where they'd hid the kettle. Duly tipped a couple of quid but a little tacky.

Room was very clean (especially glassware, mirrors, and shower panel). Unfortunately the pitch view was spoiled a little because the outside of the windows were so dirty.

Nice size, plenty of space, clean and tidy, and nice decor. massive supportive bed, only spoiled by extremely soft pillows and no spares. Room was quite cold even when set to 28C

Room made up daily, though the maid did "knock and open" at around 10.00 a.m each morning.

Facilities very good, and reception very pleasant.

Restaurant / breakfast was fine, though the two girls were in a different class to the two guys on Day 2, one of whom was clearly a trainee and had no sense of urgency or food hygiene.

Order for breakfast on day 1 was written down, but on Day 2 it was not (by the passing chef as no other staff) - he forgot the orde, then the main guy forgot, then he wrote it down.

Coming back to the hotel from an outing meant a queue at the barrier and as the concierge/porter didn't have a fob to hand, he had to go inside to find "the" fob. perhaps invest in a second fob!

Overall a very nice, clean, and quite friendly hotel so have marked it 3/5 - probably a 3.5 if they had a rating as such. Management and customer service was lacking for the rating and there's an obvious need for some sort of training in customer service and food hygiene.

However, enjoyed the experience very much and the view was that bit different.

Great location.

Room Tip: Pitch View recommended - we were on the third floor and Room 320 was almost behind the goalposts.

I have to say, I'm not a fan of Blackpool- I don't get the 'charm', but this hotel thankfully bucks the trend of tacky b&bs by offering clean and comfortable accommodation with excellent staff and good breakfast. The lounge/bar shows sports, and has an exceptional view over the pitch. I can't remember a better smoking area- literally on the terraces complete with blackpool fc drum! Bravo blackpool fc- an excellent hotel and facility for the club
