Found this restaurant via Trip Advisor.
Really good selection and the food did not disappoint one bit.
Friendly knowledgable staff, but the food was the real selling point of this place.

99/100
Real nice :-)

Really lucky to have picked this restaurant, i read a few of the reviews and thought strange lots of outstanding and a few bad ones, but being a little out of town 2 mins from the front in a taxi. Said yeah give it a go, one of my better ideas because from the time we walked thru the door to leaving we had a fantastic the welcome was warming all though we were told friday & saturday you need to book, the owner greeted us and took time to have an enquiring conversation with us,
The menu came and was very simple to understand with a great variety of meals, the service was some and the norm for indian cuisine, but the food wow we had the diamond platter as a starter basically the selection of top items for 2 to share, and it was fantastic with fresh salad and side dips highly recommended, to the mains which again followed just on time and piping hot, good size portions and full of taste. The 2 joint owners both made special points to make sure 2 out of town diners were satisfied with everything and one even joining us for a coffee before we left (we were at this stage the last customers) a fantastic night with superb food.

Away from the town centre so probably mainly known by locals. Recommended by guest house we were staying in and it was great (though quiet for Saturday night). All food was very tasty, well cooked and generous portions (great Korma, Pathia and Korai). Decent French house white. Good staff and nice surroundings. My darling wife says it was the best Indian meal she has had (I never argue with her!)

I dined here with my husband and sister on the Early Bird Menu at £12.50. We had a large Poppadum with some lovely dips, then there was a choice of five starters - I had the Chicken Pakora with four pieces and salad, then a choice of 8 main courses. We decided to order three different ones and share them which we all enjoyed - the pillau rice was really nice as well. This was followed by Ice Cream, whipped cream and a wafer and then coffee. We felt it was good value for what we had. We were the only ones in when we first arrived but then just a few more arrived, but they obviously do good trade with takeaways. There is also a full menu if you prefer more choice than on the Early Bird one.
