Wow so pleased to have booked in advance and had the pleasure of dining at McHalls. Danny was a super host with an amazing memory for names. From arriving to leaving we were made to feel most welcome. The menu was very appealing with food to suit most dinners. The food quality was super scrumptious with generous portion sizes of nice quality home cooked food. Our children (9 & 6) were given puzzles and coloring pictures to keep them occupied along with being allowed to play the piano at the end of the evening. Even Boogie (the dog) was pleased to see us at the end of the night.
Amazing food, amazing hosts and well worth a visit. See you next time we are in Blackpool.

Thank you to TA for recommending this hidden gem. We enjoyed a lovely family Sunday lunch here. Host Danny was charming and witty and made us feel welcome. The food was great. Some of the beef was a little on the tough side but that didn't spoil the meal. Roast and mash potatoes, parsnips and no less than 7 different vegetables all served with Yorkshire puddings and lots of tasty gravy. Starters and desserts were also homemade and very enjoyable. We will definitely be returning.

This little gem is just around the corner from Funny Girls (Our ultimate destination for the evening) so an ideal place to have a meal. The food was lovely, pate then pulled pork pie followed by lemon and blueberry posset. It was delicious. We were made very welcome and Danny was a fabulous host with a very dry sense of humour. A great start to a great evening and all very reasonably priced too!

We picked this bistro because it was no1 on here.
I can only say the food was just ok, nothing special. Yes the prices are good and the main waiter is very good and attentive but I can't eat the waiter. I must say the wine was really good and well priced.
