I stayed here during summer with my dad , mum , sister and grandparents. We were utterly appauled by it . The worst hotel we have ever stayed in in many years of travelling. There is not 1 good point I have to share about it. We got this hotel through reccomendation and we wish we would have just stuck to our own instinct. The room was dirty , the hotel was dirty the owner was dirty the staff were unwelcoming and it was just appauling. The room hadnt been tidied and beds were unmade with food and drink lying about . The toilet was tiny and unhygenic . The room was like a prison cell and my grandparents room had a shoe which was lying just outside above the sign which had molded and rotted . Never ever ever staying here , I would not stay here if i got payed to , not being sarcastic but me and my family would rather have slept in the car. Utter disgrace and worst stay/hotel we have been to . Never again . Do not go here at your peril.

The Hollingdales is a family friendly hotel in a great location within Blackpool. As one or two reviews here say, it is not 5 star nor does it pretend to be, however it is 5 star on hospitality. The family room we had was very good, recently decorated, very clean and of good size. The bar area is just what is needed and the atmosphere is excellent, whatever time of day. The breakfast is extremely good with excellent ingredients made fresh to order. The hotel is positioned near the Central pier but is not directly on the front, meaning you are perfectly located for all the main attractions, without being disturbed by the hustle and bustle of the front. The hotel is good, the Hollingdales team is fantastic, welcoming, friendly and a genuine care for their guests. I could not recommend this hotel more, particularly young families.

This is not a five star hotel and it doesn't pretend to be. However, Hollingdales is a great value for money hotel with a 5 star welcome and genuine friendliness towards their guests. Rooms perfectly adequate, nice bar, perfect hosts and a good position in the town. Child friendly pubs close by and close enough or far away enough from Blackpools nightlife depending on your preference. I'm sure if you look hard enough you can find fault but this hotel is well worth a visit and we will definitely return next year

Just got back from a three day stay at 'Hollingdales' which was fab from start to finish. Martin, Raddik and the rest of the team were so friendly with nothing being to much trouble. Rooms were spotless as was the shower/bathroom. Comfy beds and a lovely breakfast. Ideal location just off the main promenade. Nearest tram stop being Manchester square or it's just a 10 mins walk to tower etc... Unrestricted parking on the street outside the hotel. Outstanding value for money which we would 100% recommend.

We have just returned from Hollingdales. Martin and Raddick were extremely welcoming. Nothing was too much for them. On arriving Martin made us a pot of tea and made us feel very welcome. John offered us DVD's for the children. Fantastic family room, there were 5 of us 3 kids, 2 adults. Breakfast was yummy. The rooms and communal areas were very clean. Have been before and will definately be going again. Thank you all for your wonderful welcome.

Ive got to say Martin and Raddick, made us incredible welcome, they were totally accommodating, and excellent throughout our stay. The room was spick and span, and all the staff were very friendly any problems we had we were told just ask and they d be sorted out in no time, it was excellent location for everything, we felt very settled in after just a few hours, and we felt like we d made good friends within a matter of days. And the breakfast was sublime. Were so pleased we will be going back again, highly recommended.
