I visited The Sea during one weekend of the end of March. I was looking forward to having the traditional cod and chips by the sea. Like many of the fish and chip shops in Blackpool the menu did not state which fish was actually being served, I asked if the fish on the menu was cod and was satisfied when the employee assured it was. However when the meal was served I can definitely say that it was not cod as cod is distinguished by its chunky flesh and I feel that I was probably ripped off by the inferior quality of something like Pollock or Basa (Vietnamese Catfish).
I do not think this should be allowed to happen as you should be served exactly what you ask for.
So beware customers if you enjoy your traditional cod and chips|
