I booked at a promotion rate making my visit decent value for money, but were I paying full rate I would have expected more. The room was clean, fairly freshly painted but the shower system takes a bit of syncronised hand movement to get the temperature right. The shower door didn't shut either and the carpets have seen better days. Oh, and for some reason they have taken the door locks off the ensuite, and I know this didn't just apply to my room. Overall I wouldn't put people off going as Blackpool Hotels, like the town itself, are suffering from decline. If you're happy with decent accommodation missing in thrills then give it a try. Its a safe booking without fear of ever being bowled over.
