“Definitely One of the Best!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 October 2012

We stayed at The Sandhurst with our four year old daughter for two nights at the beginning of October. We really enjoyed our stay here with Kas and Ollie and their two adorable children. Such a family friendly hotel, which was ideal for us. Our little one even had a box of chocolates from Ollie when we mentioned it was her birthday-thankyou! We stayed in a double and single family room, although small was clean, comfortable, warm. En-suite bathroom had enough towels, complimentary toiletries, lovely shower. Tea and coffee in room, freeview tv, beds were really comfortable, fresh modern bed linen. Underground licensed bar, pool table and tv where we could make friends with other residents and share a joke or two with Kas! The breakfast was faultless and so tasty, really did set you up for the day. Hotel is literally just off the seafront, a stone's throw from the South pier and Pleasure beach, excellent location. Luckily we arrived at 2pm and managed to park right opposite the hotel for free. Being in Blackpool we never had to move the car for the whole stay as we were so close to the seafront and the tram network. Possibly the highlight of our stay has to be the Indian restaurant that operates within the hotel during the evening. Being a brummie born and bred, we've been brought up with Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine within Birmingham, but I have to say this restaurant knocks spots of many of our Birmingham balti houses. Absolutely amazing!!!! We've been coming to Blackpool for the past 5 years, and this is where we will be returning! Outstanding!:) See you next year, Debbie, Adam and Poppy :)

We stayed here for three nights in oct. Cass and Olly are great hosts I have two girls aged 8yrs and 3yrs, my little one is very shy and does not speak to anyone without knowing them well. By the end of our stay she was feeding the fish with Olly and came out of her shell. Our room was clean and modern and location is fab, right next to the south pier, pleasure beach ect. I would def stay here again and STRONGLY would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying here.

stayed here for 3 nights with my children, very friendly owners, nothing was too much for them, always had a smile on their faces. clean rooms, excellent breakfast, although was only served between 8am and 9am so had to set alarm clock to make sure we were up for breakfast which i didnt like...we were on holiday!!!! didnt use the bar as the two times i went down to see it was in darkness despite it being in the evening, although im sure the lights would have been turned on had we asked the owners to come and serve us but we just went out instead. tried the curry one evening, was gorgeous food! really enjoyed it, was lovely. only down side was not enough staff on, had to wait a long time for our food and had to ask for drinks. I think for the amount it cost us as there was 4 of us staying was a lot of money for the room but if ur going as a couple or in a group of friends where everyone is paying for themselves its good value for money but i think it was a bit expensive when ur paying £100 a night for a family as can get nicer rooms for half the price at the travel lodge! all in all, lovely lovely owners and an excellent curry but for the price we paid i think we would go somewhere else next time as it ended up costing us nearly £300 just for a 3 night stay, a bit too expensive for what it was i think.

Room Tip: rooms at the front face the pubs/bars etc but due to the location thats to be expected!

My husband and I stayed at the B&B with our young son over the weekend and were more than pleased with the service we received. The room was very clean and tidy and the staff always very friendly and cannot do enough for you. They are based a stones throw from the South pier so a great location near the action and only a short tram ride to the centre.
Would definitely recommend

Room Tip: If you struggle with stairs be sure to mention this prior to booking as there are quite a few to con...

Love this wee b&b. The staff are friendly and therooms are spotless. The breakfast is great and it certainly gets you right through till lunch. I highly recommend people to try out the Indian restaurant the b&b has for dinner...it was the best curry I have had in ages. Well worth the stay.
