Stayed for two nights at Abbey Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed it. Upon arrival Steve greeted us and showed us up to our room (which had been upgraged to a bigger room) and explained all the information we would need to know throughout our stay (breakfast times, checkout times, how to get into and out of the hotel). When we arrived at our room, it was very clean and tidy and you had lots of space to move around.
The hotel itself is located pretty much directly across from Central Pier so is halfway between everything, so all shops, bars, clubs, arcades and restaurants were within walking distance. Perfect for me and my boyfriend as neither of us drive.
We particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which was unlimited and you could order your breakfast however you like it.
The only slightly negative issue was the size of the bathrooms. Slightly on the small side but still had a full shower, toilet and sink so wasn't much of an issue for us.

Overall a wonderful experience and I would gladly book with them again.

Room Tip: We stayed on the top floor in a kingsize bedroom which was a wonderful room but slightly warm. Had a...

We booked a room here from Monday the 25th of July until Friday 29th July & from the moment we arrived we were welcomed & treated as good as any other hotel or B&B I have stayed in ( I have been on the road with work for 6 years )

Firstly the prices are fantastic,we thought we were paying £149 each not per couple (NOT EVEN £20 per head per night!!!!)

The rooms were spotlessly clean with fresh linen, clean towels every day, complimentary toiletries, iron, ironong board, hairdryer,TV & alarm clock. The shower was hot & had good pressure.

Breakfast was again first class with cereals, full english, teas & coffees aplenty.Good quality ingredients well, prepared not your common greasy fry up.

Steve was so kind to us after a late night on the Wednesday when we had got engaged,we over slept for breakfast & never got out of bed until 11:20am.We both went downstairs & he made us our breakfast without us even asking.

The bar was also very relaxing to end the night & all the other guests mixed very well...apart from two who were a bit "under scrambled" You know who I mean Dean!!

All in all a great week, with Dean & Steve great hosts who I wish all the best for in the future & we will definitely be back.

Thanks Guys

Alex & Nadean

We stayed here for one night a couple of weeks ago. When we arrived we were greeted with a lovely warm welcome. We were told that as it was a quiet week we had been put in one of the larger rooms at no extra cost. The room was great, clean and well presented. The bed was comfy, nice little tv with freeview, loads of tea and coffee and small ensuite.

The hosts were really friendly and chatted to us about our stay before leaving us to ourselves.

The breakfast in the morning was yummy, as much cereal, toast, and cooked to order items as you can manage. And as we are both vegetarian he'd bought potato cakes too :)

Overall we had a really nice time here and would definately stay again. Excellent value for money and great owners.

I went with my partner and my parents. We had a fantastic stay. The rooms were clean and well decorated, the food was delicious and both hosts very friendly and helpful. The hotel was well situated within easy walking distance of some great attractions and we would definitely recommend you to others!

Firstly you will see my commnet for this hotel titled "Nothing" as I had previously visited and never got in due to not been informed by last minute that my dates were not available.

Well again I am going to be honest about my review, everything was excellent and the six of us that came down too Blackpool thought the time spent at the Abbey Lodge was very good.

The title for this review "A great hotel to be in very clean and the owners were very helpfull and friendly." says it all for us. The owners were not only very willing to help their guests but also help neibouring owners with things they needed, it made the place feel very much like the old streets I lived in when I was young were everyone was willing to help out no matter what.

I would certainly recommend a visit to the Abbey Lodge becuase of the location, premises and the woners knowlede of the area and their willingness to help.
