One of the best things about Blackpool is that you are never more than a few feet away from something to eat. On our way back to the pleasure beach to catch our coach home after a lovely day out, we decided to dodge all the hustle and bustle of the Golden Mile and continue our journey through the side streets. We were getting rather peckish, so we decided some fish and chips were called for. That is when we came across the Tudor Eating House in Foxhall Road. There is nothing we could find to fault this establishment, and the staff were extremely helpful in recommending the 'Pensioners Special' ( we must have looked as though we qualified). Usually when we order something like this we are left feeling hungry. On the contrary, we were full to bursting! The meal itself was the best we have ever tasted, and we advise anyone intent on visiting Blackpool any time soon to put this restaurant on your list to visit. Everything about the place was spot-on, and we noticed that the other fish meals customers had ordered, the fish was hanging over the plates! Please, please, please give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.
