we really enjoyed our day at the zoo 3 children aged 9,13 and 14 and they all really enjoed it we watched the bird display and the sea lion display both of which were very interesting and professionally done. I would say the only negative was the dinosaur display which we all thought was poor.

“Lots to explore”
Reviewed 16 August 2014

Great park with plenty to do. The power boats were a particular favourite. Play park was a good size with plenty for all ages. Only downside was the cafe didn't accept card payments and the nearby ATM charged almost £2 for withdrawals (as does everywhere in Blackpool).

“sunshine in the park”

I love Stanley park because you can feed the squirrels, take a boat ride, look at the beautiful flowers, enjoy a meal in the café, and it's not far from blackpool zoo,

“Lovely park away from hustle & bustle”
Reviewed 15 August 2014 via mobile

Lovely park 10 mins drive or a short bus ride away from the sea front. Kids can play on a large play area with lots of different things besides usual swings & slides. Then there's the skate park and bmx track for those energetic folk. After that enjoy a coffee / ice cream / milkshake or food at the impressive art deco tea room. Then use up more energy on a boat - motor/pedalo or rowing at very reasonable prices. Then of coarse there's the park & colourful gardens to enjoy. Take a visit & enjoy - theres the zoo close by too.
