We were greeted by the owner ( Simon) who took time to explain everything to us and show us our room. The room was very small and had a damp repair on the ceiling which looked awful but we were told the room was to be re-done. It also smelled of cooking all the time, above the kitchen i suppose. The bed was un-comfortable too although maybe not typical.
The hotel in general was very clean and the service was excellent. The breakfast was only average i'm afraid. Fried eggs always burned at the edges and very dry bland tasting black pudding. Think i was expecting too much after all the rave reviews. Having said that, i would stay again.More
