“Never again! Dirty and untidy is an understatement.”

We were totally disgusted with our stay. Our room hadn't been hoovered from previous guest and under the bed was a feast of dust, an inhaler, labels etc all from previous guests. The duvet had crusty food on it!! My grandmas house is more up to date than this shambles of a hotel! We ended up drinking from cans instead of glasses as otherwise we would have been drinking from dirty glasses with old lipstick still visable. Never stayed in such a run down dirty and unkept hotel

When got to the hotel we had a very warm welcome but this is all we got. We went to our room, a tile in the bathroom on the roof was off over the shower. The bathroom was tiny with no toilet role. The carpet in the room was filthy, then the bed was dirty with stains all over the bedding. The telly in the room didn't work neither did the radiator. The doors were really stiff so made a loud noise. On the celling was damp with cobwebs. On the dressing table was full off dust and the windowsill was damp with dirty blinds. We didn't think nothing off it because we wouldn't be in the room as we were booked at pleasure beach for the weekend. But the morning came and breakfast was nice if you liked egg, bacon, beans and sausage with toast. The tea was undrinkable, an the orange juice was just cordial. The bar was average as just done a range of sprits and cans of beer. Overall the hotel was a great location, but will not be staying here again until a good makeover has been done.

The hotel is in a great place just on a side road off the seafront only a five minute stroll to the pleasure beach. The parking is adequate because there is on road parking outside the hotel. The owner was welcoming and friendly, the hotel also accepts dogs which is a rarity. The hotel itself is ok, nice bar room etc but our room had a few problems, the bed was lopsided, although the bedding was crisp and clean. the radiators didn't appear to work and the night was cold in the room (my daughters coat got soaked and we wanted to dry it on the radiator) we overheard other people complaining that their radiators didn't work too. The TV stand was thick with dust and the remote control didn't work, a picture appeared to have fallen off the wall and was just propped up on top of the wardrobe. The breakfast was ok if you like bacon, sausage, egg and beans but the sausage was the cheapest non-meat type you could buy. The coffee in the room was Nescafe but I have no idea what the stuff was at breakfast as it was undrinkable. The orange juice was cheap cordial that was over diluted, the toast was nice though! I guess you get what you pay for and the room rate was quite cheap but it could be a great place with a few quid spent on it and a good place with a bit mote TLC and effort.

Stayed at this hotel for a few nights, greeted by man on desk who was welcoming and friendly. The room had damp on parts of the ceiling, the tv would not work after a certain time at night. The windows could do with a clean and the curtains and the decor could do with being updated. The breakfast was ok nothing special.

We had a couple of nights here at the end of March. We were given a warm welcome and had a couple of drinks in the bar. We were given an extra big room which was a bonus. Decor in need of an update but the bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and we had no complaints (oh no milk or spoons, but minor thing). Problem came with the noisy room neighbours....2,3,4,5am and it was constant noise but this is Blackpool and people can return to the hotel anytime. For the price we paid (about £45 for 2 nights, inc breakfast) we cant complain! The review abut Youth hostels being better....not sure what planet he is on or what hostels he is refering too but here you get private rooms and breakfast included for half the price of any hostel I know. Cheap weekend, go for it! About 15 minutes walk to the main strip....

Stayed here last weekend in March , arrived Friday parked up with no problem, check in easy and room with twin bed perfect for me and my daughter, tea coffee and an en suite shower room perfect for us , breakfast was really nice and my daughter loved it , bargain price , quiet and exactly what we wanted as it's a stones throw from the pleasure beach.
