The beds were the most comfortable we have had away from home, and the pillows you just sunk into them. The accommodation was spotless and Steve and Elaine were so helpful and friendly. Breakfasts brill, the full works for my husband and fruit and museli and then poached eggs for me (done perfect) . If i had a small complaint it would be that our room at the top and back of the hotel was immaculate but small as was the shower. It was alright for a weekend but would not be adequate for a week. There were larger bedrooms but we booked last minute.

Room Tip: Just ask for a larger one. Otherwise the hotel was perfect

First off I must say what fantastic hosts Steve and Elaine are you will struggle to find better I'm sure. The interior design of the Arthington is beautiful so much effort has been put into the design. The place is spotless really clean. We had room 8 which was absoulety perfect. Also all the rooms can be seen on their website with the virtual tour. They are all very modern with iphone docking stations. The breakfast was fantastic we had a full english which was impecable. No grease no fat just tasted superb and I felt like I had enjoyed a really healthy meal! Also cream cheese bagel with bacon was amazing! We spent 2 nights here for our anniversary and when we arrived a balloon with happy anniversary was waiting in our room. This was a lovely touch! The location is perfect as you are in the middle between both the tower and pleasure beach. You will not be disapointed with the Arthington! We will be returning for sure! I would recommend calling directly to book as I believe there are some advantages when doing this.

Room Tip: Room 8 was amazing!

We have been hosted this weekend by Steve & Elaine at The Arthington whilst we enjoyed a Gala at the Winter Gardens and shopping at Lytham and also at St Anne's.

We are return visitors as the facilities are superb.

Typical of the vicinity and the build era of the town The Arthington does not have on site parking, however with a secure reasonably price car park on the adjacent Crystal Road this is not a negative and dependant on the length of stay kerb side parking is available for suitcase transfer or overnight . Steve was, as always, on hand to assist with the decision of which option is the most suitable for the personal stay.

A beverage of our choice was served in the sunny lounge whilst S&E checked us in and answered any questions before Steve offerd a porter service for ALL our luggage.

Our senior citizen stayed in the Deluxe single, which has a 4` bed and a top range en suite. There is plenty of circulation space for 1 in the room and located on the first floor so not too onerous for the elderly traveller.

My sister and I stayed in the twin, with both had drawer and cabinet space for all our needs, plenty of coat hangers, had there not been enough for all our outfits S&E would have provided more as soon as asked. We could see the pinnacle of the tower, from the bedroom window and the bathroom was flooded with natural light most of the day and as it is in every room, was well appointed with good quality linens, towels, and high spec carpets.

The complimentary for your stay sweets, biscuits, chocolates, beverages and water are branded and of quality, it would be greedy and detrimental to your waist to eat them all in one day.

The award winning breakfast accounted for all tastes, girths and stamina. Both mornings I had a Arthington Snowfall a large sundae glass of fresh fruit, honey, granola and yoghurt. OAP had the traditional 'full English'. And we all had piles of hot toast and real butter washed down with lashings of hot tea, fresh coffee and fruit juices.

We could have had our evening meal there too in the evening, but chose to eat out in Lytham via a taxi arranged by S&E, which arrived on both occasion within 1 minute of the call being placed.

Elaine's interior decorating flair, high housekeeping standards, less guests/bigger rooms is more guest comfort strategy combined with Steve's multi tasking and great location is worth our repeat business. The extras, thoughtful touches and fixture and fitting that are typical of hotel accommodation are an honour and a bonus in this B&B.

Room Tip: All rooms are as quiet as possible considering the location. The owners can not montor the seagulls...

After being sceptical about staying in a B&B we decided to stay here due to the excellent reviews on this site! We arrived very early at around 10am and despite being very busy on a Monday morning Elaine was more than happy to sit and offer some advice on where to go in Blackpool. She noted we were there for a birthday stay and when we returned we received an upgrade to a bigger room!

Throughout the stay we could not fault anything and the service from both Elaine and Steve was outstanding! The room was very clean and the hotel was in a perfect location.

I would recommend this B&B to anyone looking to visit Blackpool! We will definitely be back and would pay the little extra to stay in a deluxe room!

Thanks for a lovely stay!

Dan and Cat

As Arnie would say - I'll be back.
Friendly, great décor, delicious breakfast, exemplary service - couldn't ask more. In a great, clean street. Perfectly located for tram stops. Elaine helped me get a parking spot for the night til a spot on the street opened up the next day. The rooms are lovely and the little touches make even the tea/coffee tray better than usual. Where else would you get Love Hearts and Mini cookies.
