Have just returned from another visit to the arthington. Elaine and Steve made us extremely welcome yet again, they both go out of their way to assist you and give you advice what to do whilst you are in Blackpool. The breakfast is superb every morning, freshly made to your requirements and the standard of the rooms are extremely modern and comfortable. Thank you again to you both for another wonderful stay...Dianne, dave, Margaret, Ella.... Glasgow

Room Tip: We stayed in the large attic room which has recently been refurbished, absolutely beautiful.

We paid for 2 nights for our just married friends who were going to darts final.
Steve and Elaine made them feel so special ftom beginning to end. From Elaines welcome cream tea on arrival (well worth it) to their sumptuous room and Steve s ...we'll look after you...attitude. Attention to detail second to none. ..Help with activities and apparently awesome breakfast. Always a gamble booking ftom a distance for someone else's stay..I hit the jackpot and can't wait to try it for myself. Thanks Steve and Elaine. .a dying breed x

What a hidden gem in Blackpool. If you are looking for excellent accommodation with excellent food and a great Welcome look no further. Steve and Elaine met us with a warm welcome and cream tea. If you are looking for class in the middle of Blackpool this is it. We were made to feel so welcome and the rooms are outstanding. We are already looking at organising a break with friends next year. We went as a couple but this was also an excellent family hotel. We felt safe within the local location and Steve advised us of all the attractions and must do things within our time. I would have no hesitation in recommending this excellent hotel for all manner of occasions or events.
The rooms have refreshment facilities available with free wifi. The bedroom we had was very large with excellent en suite facilities. There was no restriction to access - the hotel was available to come and go as you please.
The hotel has it's own bar that is run by Steve and again a very inviting welcoming area that allows you to relax and enjoy. I was also very impressed by the price of drinks.
The hotel itself is located within easy walking distance of the tower but at the same time is a location that is quiet and undisturbed.
We thought we may have a problem with parking but again Steve gave us excellent advice and we parked almost outside the hotel with NO cost.

I have left the best till last. The breakfast was outstanding with a wide selection of fruit, pastries and a choice of cooked breakfasts.

Feel assured that you can visit this hotel in the knowledge that you get value for money with real care and attention that makes you feel valued.

Room Tip: Talk to Steve or Elaine they are very helpful and are honest people. They have a wide range to accom...

The friendliest staff I have ever met. Our sat nav crashed just outside Blackpool and we were lost. The owner Steve could not have been more helpful with directions and helping us park just outside their modern, stylish guest house. Although it was late we were given pots of tea and coffee in the lounge/bar area...what a welcome! The bedroom, a small double was compact but immaculately clean and the bed was really comfortable with lovely white cotton bedding. There were kind touches like sweets left out with the tea and coffee and warm and humorous messages everywhere like, 'Always kiss me goodnight' on the bedroom wall. The warmth and friendliness continued our whole stay. The breakfast was delicious and 'Happy Birthday' was played from a tape for one of the guests. Steve and Elaine obviously work very hard but do it with such grace and fun. Can't say Blackpool is my favourite place but this guest house is fab!

Room Tip: If you want more space choose a King room for a little extra cost. The small double was OK for 1 nig...

We were driving north to Scotland and wanted to break our journey. We found The Arthrington on the Trip Advisor website and were absolutely delighted. Steve and Elaine were excellent hosts, with a welcoming cuppa on arrival. The room was very well stocked with many of the little touches you'd normally only expect at a much more expensive hotel. The breakfast was delicious with a wide choice of dishes on offer, all of top quality. This has to be THE best value B&B we've ever found! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great stay over at Blackpool - convenient, friendly and well worth a visit!
