Staff excellent friendly and very helpful.Good evening entertainment. We stay about 5 times a year.Menu did needs updating. When the restaurant goes self- service it will be excellent ,if it is like the Cliffs. We like adults only hotel. We enjoy Buddy Lee.

Room Tip: Some rooms are better in summer and some rooms are better in winter.

couldn't fault the service we got at this hotel, the young lady on reception was really helpful, we had issue with shower no problem moved to another room, sea view brilliant worth the little extra, food lovely, entertainment great you didn't even have to go out in the rain!!! you can access this from inside the hotel

Room Tip: try to choose a room away from stairs, as you do hear people going in and out

Once again another first class experience. Rooms good, entertainment good, food excellent. Will continue to visit three to four times a year. The staff, particular the dining room staff are first class.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms, third floor are very good, a little more expensive but in our opinion good value.

Have been visiting this hotel for the last five or six years. have stayed at least twice sometimes three times each year.Stayed this time from 18th May which happened to be my 70th birthday for 5 nights if my partner and I didn't enjoy it we wouldn't keep going back,Can't fault the service all the staff are brilliant Jackie our waitress for the week couldn't do enough for us she even remembered from the first day that it was two coffees for breakfast. Only two complaints first the lift only goes from first to third floor they really do need a new lift system to cover all floors and a ladies toilet is needed where the restaurant and residents bar is, there is a gents but us ladies have to go down a very long staircase and i find it difficult with a walking stick. apart from that we always have great time.Have booked for next year before i came home.

Room Tip: Room 334 is good, quite large.

Booked a two night stay to meet friends for a reunion. This hotel was excellent for food and has its own entertainment venue attached ideal if the weather is bad as you can access it from the hotel.

Staff were very pleasant and keen to ensure you had what you needed especially the dining room staff.

One thing that lets this hotel down is the rooms they are very outdated and need a good refurbishment. Bathrooms were adequate but again dated. Our room 236 was a seaview room with a double bed and single bed in so although big any spare room was taken up by the single bed.

However, all was ok with the room until we came to bed and that was then we discovered we were over the entertainment venue and they had a very loud disco on until 2am. The noise was awful and to add to it they started hoovering the dining room before 7am the next morning so not much sleep for us.

I spoke to them the next morning and me complaining about the noise was no surprise to them at all they were obviously used to it one girl even said "oh yes it is a noisy room". They swopped our room with someone who was arriving that day and it was lovely and quite that night. I got the feeling they put people in that room knowing they will have to move them the next day. They really need to sort it out or not rent out those rooms affected.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms over the entertainment venue ask for top floor. Definitely dont take 236
