we stayed here 15th to the 17th august for our anniversary, what can I say about this hotel again. well the dining arrangements have changed since we last stayed, its still a buffet style breakfast(which is excellent) now at the evening meal you help yourself to starters, meal still served at your table,( by the lovely friendly staff), then you help yourself to deserts. good idea we think. went in the talk of the coast on the Friday evening, Buddy Lee still as funny as ever, seen a new comedian this time, Billy Hunting I think he was called. absolutely hilarious. another fabulous weekend at this hotel

Rooms need a refresh,Food fantastic.Entertainment --well ,was brilliant.Staff very helpful.
The only let down was the draught beers flat and sometimes undrinkable.Buddie Lee is one of the best compares we have had the pleasure to have been heckled by---in a nice way

Room Tip: Not a lot of difference I don't think

Just back from a week at the Viking, and cant wait to go back. Easily the best hotel we've been to in Blackpool, (been a few!). Staff very helpful and friendly, food was great, particularly liked the self service buffet for breakfast and starters and sweets. We had a sea view room which was spotlessly clean. Entertainment was excellent and the bonus was u had your own table for the duration of your stay so no rushing to find a table, same in the dining room. Brilliant hotel!

we have been at least once a year to the Viking for quite a number of years and never been disappointed the staff are lovely and friendly the food has always been good and we also like the self service breakfast and starters n sweets at the evening meal we also had a very good room this visit it was one that had been refurbished it was lovely,i would prefer to pick my own seats in the cabaret room as you can end up sitting next to someone your not very keen on and be stuck with them every night it can spoil your break also you can be seated near the back and as were both a bit deaf cant always hear comedian, but overall a really good hotel.
