I have stayed here a few times now on an annual trip to Blackpool with my daughters dance school. It has been refurbished over the last couple of years, and although each room is different, it is a typical Blackpool b&b formed originally from a house so the rooms vary in size. Its clean & the beds are comfy (on the whole), with a decent breakfast- value for money- and a great central location next to the winter gardens.

We stay at this hotel on Friday evening, it is a lovely hotel with comfortable beds and a really great breakfast, the people who run this hotel are kind and considerate and very helpful. It has a lift to take you down stairs to breakfast. This hotel has a few steps at the front of the hotel so would not be suitable for a person in a wheelchair.
I would recommend this hotel to my friends and will return there again when I am in Blackpool.

i know blackpool b&bs are nt supposed to be 5 star but the stay we had there and the price we paid i think we could ve stayed in one we had a family room and what a joke this was 3 single hard beds dirty covers and a bathroom no bigger than a portaloo no curtains on bathroom window no hot water the only reason we did nt complain was because we stayed with a big group of people from a dance school and the only good thing about it was the winter gardens are facing it so it was 20 sec walk to the weekend event . would not recomend this place to NO ONE not even a gang of hen or stags this place needs a massive makeover and prices should reflect the room and not the event across the road which they make the money on .

Room Tip: get a tent on beach !!!!!

We went to Blackpool to attend a gig at Winter Gardens. The New Osterly was chosen because of its proximity to the venue. I was'nt expecting much and on that front i was'nt dissapointed!
The owners were very nice people but the hotels decor was very tired and old fashioned. We had a 4 poster bed in our room, that consisted of a plinth of wood with net tacked to it. The breakfast was ok but served on a small plate and if im honest the hash browns were the hottest thing on the plate. Im not overly keen on Blackpool per se, so we only went there because we had no choice. If I was going to go again, I would'nt choose this hotel.

Just back from a new year stay here.Cannot say a bad word about it,it's very central the staff are really pleasant and friendly. On New Years night we were all feeling a bit hungry but weren't sure if we could get food delivered. After speaking to a member of staff and told no problem we had the food delivered and we even allowed to eat it the bar area whilst still enjoying a drink. The bar prices too were very reasonable. The rooms also can have no complaints,we had a total of 6 rooms in our party and they were spotless, with clean towels on both days.Would definitely use this hotel again not just because if the location but because of the way we were treated.

This hotel is good value. Location is great for shops, winter gardens and promenade. Staff were helpful and polite. Lots of parking near by.

The only improvement would be to have a bigger time a lot for breakfast as its only served from 9am till 9.30am. Perhaps serve from 8am till 9.30.
