Me and my partner have stayed in this BB and it's sister hotel and both in everyway were outstanding. Attention to detail is second to none, especially for us was the breakfast. The selection was suitable for every palate and it was served with a smile and nice conversation. The interior design was beautiful and classy. So clean you could literally eat your food off everything. You do pay a higher price for this BB/Hotel but every penny is worth the comfort and elegance you get.

Just a quick note to thank you for your lovely review. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay and breakfast - the most important meal of the day especially when you're on your hols and don't realise how far you walk!! Again, very many thanks!

Me and my partner stayed here in April 2012. This hotel is Top class, You cannot fault the rooms, they are luxurious, We had a large 4 poster bed in the bathroom was a deep bath tub with a jacuzzi jet option built into the bath tub, there was a flat screen TV, built in the wall for you to watch in the bath, and a full size shower if you preffered. The only down side is the hotels location, its in the south shore area of blackpool, its quite away from the main shopping centre, There is a tram stop at the end of the street though.

Lovely hotel, beautifully decorated and the room we stayed in was so luxurious it had a remote to turn everything on and off with including the tv lights heating curtains everyting i want one for at home, enjoyed the jacuzzi bathtub but was a bit worried when the bubbles went off as it must have a timer and i thought id broke it ! the lady that runs it was really nice and pleasant however her husband seemed a little grumpy the breakfast was lovely and my fiance had a champagne breakfast which he loved =) The lady gave us good advice on a resteraunt that was just around the corner an italian that was lovely =) The location was about a twenty minute walk from the pleasure beach and miles away from the clubs so bear that in mind! The lady told us lots of celebs have stayed there so look out for a celeb in the room next to yours lol you never know =) all in all loved it =)

Room Tip: all rooms look amazing

We stayed here two weeks ago and we are the first people to check trip advisor when booking somewhere.its easy to find,Claire provided a beautiful welcome and her professionalism and friendliness was next to nothing. The room was amazing such high standard and we could not think of one thing that wasn't provided or offered ion the room or during our stay. The bathroom was lovely and the technical level of the modern technology was unreal. The breakfast on offer was anything you could imagine plus more .We opted for full English and the standard and quality of the food, sausages etc was lovely. After a lovely walk along the sea front we arrived back to our room to rose petals on the bed and in the bathroom and banners up congratulating us being newly weds.Dont stay anywhere else until you've stayed here

A fabulous high-end B&B just a few minutes from the start of the Illuminations with the charming Claire as your host for whom nothing is too much trouble.
Very comfortable and spacious room and super bathroom with waterfall shower & jacuzzi bath which my husband couldn't get me out of given the TV at the end of it!
Breakfast was large and delicious and although we only stayed for one night would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a posh B&B experience.

Room Tip: All of them are superb from talking to other guests at breakfast

We had a weekend break to celebrate our nephew's birthday. Blackpool is a crazy town and we wanted somewhere that was boutique, close, but not too close to the attractions. This was so we could throw ourselves into the experience but escape to comfort and relaxation as and when. Much is made of the difference that Number One St Luke's provides compared with the multitude of B&B options. We are used to a bit of high end so this was an ideal pick. On arrival we were greeted by our tireless host for the weekend , Claire, who immediately made us welcome and explained some of the features in the rooms. Do pay attention to this as the lights and home entertainment are of a high spec but can be confusing if you are more used to light switches over sensor controls. We had North and South Pier booked with North being the family room. Both rooms were immaculate done in a fusion oriental style with traditional features so as not to feel overdone. Generous bed sizes (even on the fold out sofa) and lots of comforts (a jacuzzi bath, for example). The room contains complimentary teas, coffee and a box of plasters/ thread and other things for when things go awry. Everything is thought of and it immediately promotes a sense of being in safe, experienced hands. There is even a little fridge in the hallway should you get snacky. There is literally little need to do anything but enjoy the accommodation. As with all good guest houses advice on what to do and a bit of personal colour is thrown in in a friendly, often amusing, way. Breakfast is just what you need - a wide variety of choice and all included in the price. The cooked breakfast is mix and match to cater for taste. The only downside I can think of is that there are only 3 rooms at this original venue (though they do have a South Beach hotel of similar standard) - so in high season I would plan to book early. I think Claire and family should be justifiably proud of what they have achieved here and I would make this your first hit if you are in Blackpool and have an eye on not being overwhelmed by the stags and hens. Definitely number One, definitely the right choice.
