Disppointed with the fact that to enter the hotel and leave the hotel you have to walk past the receptionist standing outside the front door smoking. On one occasion I went for breakfast and the receptionist was outside the front door smoking. 25 minutes later, having finished breakfast, I had to walk back past the same receptionist plus her colleague who were both smoking. This is not a great welcome to any establishment. The towels in the bathroom were clean but smelt of cigarette smoke when the became wet. The bathroom floor was dirty and room smelt damp.
The restaurant next door to the hotel was not very good. The tables were dirty and sticky, the service at dinner was quite poor and the quality of the food was poor. Chicken tikka breast pieces with lumps of grisle in them. The fish had little or no fish in it just batter and skin - I couldn't be bothered to complain at the time. Went in for breakfast the next morning and the place was not clean - it appeared very drab and run down. The fruit juice glasses, which were dirty anyway, were stuck to the table cloth. The tables hadn't been cleared from the previous customer and I had to sit through my breakfast with someone's dirty pots on the table. The young lady serving was very pleasant, rushed off her feet and no doubt doing her best. I have stayed at many, many Premier Inns and eaten in many , many of the restaurants attached to those hotels but really this hotel and restaurant are the worst.

Stayed here for an overnight with 3 kids, aged 15, 14 and 10. The hotel is about a 2 min drive from the Pleasure Beach, (which was the purpose of our stay). We tried to book into Premier Inn Central but it was fully booked. Like any Premier Inn we have stayed in before, we have no complaints at all. Check in was quick and efficient, receptionist on desk very helpful and pleasant. The room was nice, bathroom had a shower and bath, beds comfy as always! Breakfast in the morning was next door in the Air Balloon, again really nice, a choice of cereal, fruit, yoghurts, croissants, toast and then a cooked breakfast, you could eat as much as you liked. We actually ate in there for dinner on the 2 nights aswell. Very good value for money, 2 main meals for £9!! I will definetely be staying here again on our next visit to Blackpool as I wouldn't risk any of the B & B's!!

As the name suggests, this hotel is right next to Blackpool Airport. We had room 33 which overlooked the airport, and as an aviation enthusiast this was a bonus for me (if you're not so inclined, don't worry too much -- noise was minimal and during the daytime only).

This is an older-style Premier Inn and our room was quite large, with a double bed, sofa bed, desk, and bath/shower. We were on the first floor and had to carry our cases up the stairs as there were no lifts; this was not a problem for us, but it's worth noting as not everyone travels as light as we do!

The location of the hotel is ideal for getting in to Blackpool, and getting out when you've had enough. It's only a couple of minutes drive to the illuminations, but away from the hustle and bustle.

The hotel is situated right next to a pub/restaurant called the Air Balloon. We were staying on a Thursday night and the restaurant was very busy at around 7pm, so it may be wise to book a table. We also had to wait quite a while for the food, but when it did arrive we were impressed and found it very good value. We went back for a drink at about 9pm and it was much less busy.

I was very comfortable at this hotel and would stay there again, especially as the location suited my needs.

We've stayed in many Premier Inns (and before then many of the original Travel Inns and a couple of Premier Lodges before the two merged) and despite the increase in prices over the years we still feel Premier Inn offers value for money, especially for a family like us with two children (now both over the age of 12, yet still plenty of room for us all to sleep in a family room). You know exactly what you are going to get, not least of which is comfortable beds (with enough pillows!) and a clean bathroom with a powerful shower and towels that are big enough, and absorbent enough to do the job!

This was our first stay in the Blackpool Airport Premier Inn, though we have often stayed at the Bispham Premier Inn as my brother lives in Fleetwood. This time, though, we were flying direct to Blackpool (from our home in Jersey) and as we knew we wouldn't have a car for the weekend thought that the airport Premier Inn would be the logical choice - it really is literally only a minute's walk from the terminal! It is also only a 20 minute walk to the Pleasure Beach and across the road from the number 11 bus which runs to, and through, Blackpool town centre. There is also the Squires Gate train station a five minute walk away if you require train connections as part of your onward travel.

Special mention to Kerri, the receptionist who checked us in. Our flight from Jersey on Friday night was delayed, but a quick phone call to reception meant that Kerri was soon giving us full details of the opening hours of the Air Balloon restaurant next door, and the offer of menus for a range of take aways within a 5 minute walk if we needed them.

We had breakfast in the Air Balloon next door. Although £7.75 per adult may seem steep for breakfast, you have to factor in that our two daughters ate for 'free' as part of the price, and as such it was less than £4 a head for as much as we wanted to eat. Unlike some other Premier Inns the cooked breakfast has to be ordered from your server, rather than self-selected from a hot buffet, but there is nothing to stop you asking for 4 sausages, 3 fried eggs and 5 portions of grilled tomato if that's what you want! Again, special mention to Emily, our server on each of our three mornings - her cheerfulness was a joy, even at 7.30am this morning, and after the first morning she also always remembered what we (and other guests staying more than one night) had ordered for breakfast the day before! We ate in the Air Balloon on our first night (having arrived in time in the end!) and as far as evening meals are concerned it's a typical chain with a typical chain menu - it won't blow you away, but it's reasonably priced for what you get and will serve its purpose if you're hungry!

Finally, if you're worried about airport noise, don't be - the airport is little used with fewer than ten flights a day even on a Saturday in July, and none of them excessively late or early in their timings. You won't even know it's there!

I have stayed here twice recently and have been perfectly happy with what this hotel provides. My large room was clean and cosy, the breakfasts were perfectly adequate and the staff were very pleasant. I didn't have an evening meal in the co-joined pub but did eat in the Nearby Lee Raj Indian and San Marco Italian restaurants and can recommend both. If you need a room in the Blackpool airport area then this Premier Inn is just the job.
