“NIce hotel - shame about the pub”
Reviewed 5 April 2012

The hotel was great - the rooms were very spacious with everything you need. Bathroom was also large with a good quality shower.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
The only thing which let this hotel down slightly was the attached pub. Some strange sort of village square effect (on the inside) with dust covered plastic plants and a waterfall. The food was ok, but fairly slow and on the first morning, we were put on a table too small for our group of 6 and kind of in the way for people using the toaster. We did ask me move to a larger table but was told that those tables don't get used for breakfast.
All in all, the hotel was ideal for us and breakfast was satisfactory, but I wouldn't chose to eat there in the evening.

Stayed here for one night while attending a gig at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool.

It’s the standard Premier Inn affair really. We choose to stay in them as you know what you’re getting and I’ve never had a bad Premier Inn yet and this was no exception. The room was large, comfortable and spotless which is basically everything I would ask of a hotel.

We ate in the adjoining pub restaurant before going into town which was really good and excellent value. The full English breakfast the next morning was great as well. My only criticism would be the location. It’s a little bit out of the town centre on an Industrial estate, but it might make a good base if you have a car and want to travel into town or want easy access to the M55. We got reception to book a taxi from the hotel into Blackpool town centre and they have a fixed price fare with “C Cabs” for £12, so it’s basically a £24 expense to the town centre and back so you might have to factor this into your budget if cost is an issue.

Overall, I would recommend the hotel as the staff where great and it was spotless, but I would try the other Premier Inn’s nearer the town centre first.

We have been to several Premier hotels up and down the county they have all been spotless and very friendly. As disabled people they have catered for our every need. This Premiere however has an extra surprise. The first night we ate in their lovely pub restaurant with an open fire and leather settees. The following morning we were shown into the breakfast room which is the main restaurant. Wow! All I can say is it was like an enchanted village and it was beautiful. All we could think about was how much our grandchildren would love it. We are now planning to book several rooms and are taking the whole family from great grand parents to great grandchildren.
If I had to say one negative thing it would be that as with another reviewer our breakfast on the Friday was luke warm but on the Saturday it was piping hot .
If you want a fabulous breakfast and you are in the area go to Premier inn Reebok Bolton.

We have been taking advantage of the Premier Inn free weekend give away. Stayed at Balckpool east as all the other premier inns closer to town were booked up but I am glad they were, This is a little gem, The room itself was clean tidy and comfortable with all the Premier Inn usuals (by the way what is it with Premier Inn kettles ? they take ages to boil!)
But the suprise for this one was the lovely Bar & Restaurant 'The Outside Inn' Cosy, comfortable, quaint and charming. I only had the breakfast and it was lovely albeit a little cold for my liking but other than that not a fault with it. I will definately be returning to this little gem.
