Stayed here on 2/5/14 with my sister rooms are clean and comfortable was a bit concerned about the number of people early on in the evening going out with doors banging but when the night time staff came on I believe the reception guy was Darren and the security guy think his name was Shaun soon put our minds at rest with walking round the building regular checking that all was ok. And when my sister nipped out for a smoke she was talking to them and they were saying they do regular patrols round the corridors and told us about a lone female policy I think this is a fantastic idea as I travel a fair bit with work and never new this about premier inn they were both very nice and very friendly and nothing was too much trouble and it made our stay more relaxing will definitely come back here well done you two xx

We stayed here for one night as we were attending an event at the tower. We had to get a taxi to the tower as it was too far from the hotel to walk. The hotel was clean and all the staff we encountered during our stay were professional and friendly. We slept well despite being in a room facing the reception door. We did hear doors slamming and the guests in our room above stomping about, but other than that, all was quiet. The beds were as comfy as always. Once again premier inn was a good choice for us.

Couldnt fault this hotel, we stayed for 2 nights for our sons 2nd birthday. The team had decorated our room for our arrival with balloons and banner they even left a gift and a card for our little man. We arrived 2 hours earlier than check in and the lovely lady on reception let us check in all the team we met were lovely and chatted to our two babies.

The room itself was clean and perfect for two little ones exploring without worrying they might put something in there mouth

we enjoyed it that much we are going to book again for our daughters 1st birthday in August

many thanks to all the team you really made our stay 1st class

We stopped in Premier Inn 2 adults and 3 older children (16,20 &21) rooms very clean and comfortable. We had gone to spend a day in pleasure beach and hotel is 10 min walk away. If coming by train get off at last stop after pleasure beach stop we made mistake of getting off one stop too soon and had to walk but wasn't too far. We had some lunch in pub next door to hotel was good. Came back around 7pm and the place was packed needed to book to eat around that time next available was about 9 but as we had older children it didn't matter to us we had couple of drinks and caught a taxi to a nice Chinese. Taxi numbers available from hotel. All in all very good value for money and enjoyed our stay.

Everything you need in a budget hotel, great, comfy bed, reasonable shower, clean enough, great breakfast policy, convenient pub like food in restaurant. Very convenient location for both the pleasure beach and the water park.

We had a one night stay here recently, we arrived at 10am I went into reception expecting to have to pay for parking until check-in time but I was given a pass and told we could park straight away no charge. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you. The room was fine, nice and clean with a double and two single beds for the kids. The bed was very comfy, we had a great sleep. We had the breakfast which was lovely, in the past I've found Premier Inn breakfasts just ok and nothing special but this was really nice, juicy sausages and plenty to choose from. Staff at breakfast in the restaurant were lovely too, very friendly and polite. There is a garage right next door so this was handy for a few bits before we set off home. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to the pleasure beach area where we jumped on the tram to the town centre, we bought the family day ticket for £9 you can use it as many times as you like which was great value for the four of us. I would highly recommend this hotel, we will be back!

Stayed here with my son for a few nights in Feb. Had I realised how far out it was I wouldn't have bothered. Cost us £7.50 in taxi from train station and was a fair walk down to the front. The room was smaller than previous stays but of the highest cleanliness. The food was better than expected so that was a bonus we didn't have to walk about to find tea. Restaurant staff very friendly and chatty. Family room above us - had children banging about at all hours :-( Reception staff not very engaging whilst checking out, and as I work for this chain I know all too well what staff should be saying to guests. Don't think we'd stay here again, which is a shame really. On a positive note: you are able to open the windows for fresh air!
