I've always visited the Lyndale when in Blackpool, fabulous memory's, a wonderfull warm place. From the second you walk through the door expect fun and laughter from your hosts Roy & Maggie.
'Spectacular views of the Chip Shop opposite', comical nights in the downstairs bar, and if your lucky you might even get to see some live entertainment too (like the resident one legged tap dancer - he can't dance but he goes down well....)
Roy is a talented guitarist / singer / comedian who often puts on a show most nights ( go on - just ask ! ) he'll have you in stiches, reminiscant of the late great 'Les Dawson'.
If you like tradition and you want a real feel of what Blackpool is all about then I cannot recommend a better place to stay, thats if you can get in, book early, limited rooms avaliable.
I won't stay anywhere else, cosy rooms, handy for the Pleasure Beach and town, central location, good breakfast and evening meal if you request one, there's even a pool table in the bar.
The very best in warm Landlord & Landlady tradition, its not false either ! - You'll love it.
