It was brilliant!

It was clean, friendly, perfectly located and the other guests were a good laugh. The 24 hour bar is cheap, staff are helpful, showers are warm, rooms are clean and tidy... What more could you want?!

I'll definitely be going back!

Just spent my hen weekend here, it's brilliant. If you want 5* luxury go somewhere else but if you want non stop fun in a place where they really don't seem to mind what the hell you get up to then this is the place for you. Location is excellent, if you walk out the door and kept going you'd walk right off the end of central pier, The hotel bar is like one big party, we were drinking vodka and orange for breakfast in our pajamas and no one batted an eyelid. we're already planning our return.

I went last weekend. Warm cans of Carling £2.50. Bed looked like it had been slept in. Cleanish rooms at best. No buffet food seen, Karaoke Broken. Legendary breakfast??? Having a laugh. I sausage/ 1 rasher of bacon/ 1 egg some beans and a plum tomato. Tea and cofee and toast. That's it. No working TV (power/ no signal) not working in others. No towel supplied (had to ask for one). No sign of teand coffee makins either in room. I tried tgo complain but manager said I was boring him and should P**s off. Charming. At least the riot outside on the last night meant an early night as the bar was shut!!!! Don't waste you money £59 2 nights. Seriously....

16 of us made the trip to "The welli" for a lads weekend the first weekend in June and to be honest we couldnt have asked for a better hotel.

Loaction was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were a good size with clean bedding, warm showers(something you dont get everywhere!), towels etc provided. The breakfast in the morning to sort out thehangover, or to sober us up, was just what we needed. Last of all, the bar, although we nearly drank in dry was a great size, had a party atmosphere, and you could get a drink when you needed it any time of day.

If you are looking for a good party hotel, with no hassle, the welli is for you.

ps-I have marked sleep quality 5/5 because if you dont want to go to bed you dont have to, but if you do have to go to bed, then you can hardly hear any noise coming from downstairs.
Also value, we stayed in a hotel 2009 for £16 per head bnb. However, I would gladly pay the £29 per head again(and we will be in 2011) because the location is 10x better as was the staff, rooms etc - you get the point!!

after just returning from this hotel i would stay i was let down by my expectations their website had given me. The staff were all friendly and nothing was to much trouble but the cleanliness of our room left a lot to be desired, some guest had got to their rooms and refused to stay lucky our room was not to bad , but one day we saw the cleaner and we fully understood why, the mop that she was carrying to clean the laminate floors was scruffy to start with.

Stayed on Saturday 16th Jan, brilliant hotel, lovely owners had a fantastic time, the hotel really made the weekend, clean with a tasty breakfast in the morning. Such a laid back and fun atmosphere with the non stop party. Will always stay here from now on when I'm visiting blackpool for the night. Highly recommended!!!
