We very much enjoyed our 3 night stay, from the moment we arrived the service from Barrie (the Manager) and his staff was friendly and first rate. All our 3 rooms had a fresh decor and were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent. It even passed our "sausage test" - we often find that smaller hotels use cheap and nasty sausages; not so at the Lancaster!. We had an evening dinner at the Bistro, that also was excellent and very good value for money too. The Hotel is easy to find and has free parking on site ( I hate having to park offsite!). The location is very convenient for town, pier, Tower etc, we walked everywhere other than a short bus / tram ride to the pleasure beach. Overall, very good value; I can certainly recommend the Lancaster!

from start to finish this hotel was great, we had a warm and friendly welcome from maria, our room was lovely, very clean and nicely decorated, barry the chef was a godsend, on request he made a pasta dish for our very fussy 8yr old, we had dinner in the bistro, if you can, definately eat there, the food was amazing, and very affordable, compliments to the chef on his lovey menu. our room also had a memory foam mattress, we all had a fantastic sleep, if you are visiting blackpool make sure that the lancaster house hotel is top of your list. we will definately be back
best wishes myles and tracey edinburgh

I booked this Hotel as a surprise for my husband for his 50th Birthday. We stayed for 3 nights, Friday to Monday in a twin room, and I can honestly say it is one of the best hotels we have stayed in in Blackpool and we have been to a few. My husband had the cooked breakfast (I am not a breakfast person which wasnt a problem either) I had cereal and toast and always got asked if we wanted more toast etc. The waitress was very helpfull each morning and very pleasant, made us feel really welcome. The breaskfast itself my husband said was fabulous, no faults at all. The twin room was lovely and clean and even though on the front it was still very quiet. The hosts very very friendly indeed, couldnt meet a nicer couple, so thanks again for a lovely stay and we will be returning in the near future. Had a lovely stay. Bus stop outside with buses to towncentre every15 mins which we used a lot, central for everything.

We decided to take an overnight stay in Blackpool and surfed the net to find some accomodation. We didn't fancy a lot of what we saw, but after reading the reviews on this place decided we would give it a go. My, oh my, it was far from your typical seaside residence. It was decorated inside in a lovely contemporary style, the sheets and linen was spotless in the room and whole place was so clean. I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone. Also, if you want to steer clear of the usual seaside fish and chips and Greasy Joe's there is a fab bistro within the hotel with fresh cooked fish, steaks and salads etc yum yum. Overall an amazing night with great hosts.
