We have just had a lovely stay at The Lancaster hotel & bistro.Welcomed by Maria & shown our en suite room. All kept very very clean. We booked an evening meal in Olivers bistro, got the last table.Chef Barrie,Maria,s partner is 1st class. Local people were dining in the bistro, say no more. The menu is well varied & cooked in front of you as the bistro is open plan. Our meal was delicious. Lovely nights sleep in our room followed by a breakfast cooked by Barrie, top quality food used.Only 10 mins walk to centre. There is also a large lounge with a bar if you just want to relax.Off road parking as well. A great place to stay, great team running it.Would recommend to family & friends.

unable to stay at our usual hotel we rang the lancaster house hotel and were luckily able to be accomodated.
booking in really easy thanks to maria. room spotless and large by blackpool standards.
breakfast was absolutely brilliant. very high quality ingredients used and able to help yourself
which is a bonus if like us always hungry. we also ate in the attached restaurant. (have eaten there before on a previous visit to blackpool) excellent service as usual. especial thanks as well to the morning waitress. really efficient. hotel also has car parking. a real bonus in blackpool. barry also very efficient and nice and a wonderful chef. only downside if there is one is they do not do bar snacks and we are always hungry after a night on the town but as they have the restaurant attached i suppose they have enough of serving food. we will definately recommend.

Room Tip: we had 3 rooms. all good.

after a long drive up north, it was nice to be greeted by name. parking was a slight hassle as we had to park infornt of someone's car until they checked out the next day. room was clean, bed was good and tea/coffee facilities provided. door was quite flimsy though, and we had difficulty with the lock. some of the ceiling tiles were damaged but overall room was very good. breakfast buffet and bed were the best things :) only a 5-10min stroll to the front, and set back away from the noise.

We stayed here with two very small children (a one year old and a two and a half year old) and found the proprietors to be extremely accommodating providing a travel cot and highchairs. We stayed in a family room with a double and bunks, ensuite shower room and a travel cot for our baby, we found it large enough for our two night stay with floor area for the children to sit and play.
The welcome was warm and friendly and I can say we we felt valued as guests. The room itself was spotlessly clean, bright, airy and extremely comfortable. We even had a memory foam mattress and had the best nights sleep we've ever had away from home despite sharing with two small boys!!
The breakfast was outstanding with juice, cereal, and toast alongside a wonderful full English with fried bread!!!!
The bistro looked wonderful with a brilliant menu, and the lounge/bar area was spacious and comfortable. We were able to take our baby monitor downstairs with us so we could enjoy a little time together once the boys were asleep, a huge huge bonus when travelling with little ones.
We found it within easy walking distance of the front so left our car in the carpark for the duration of our stay and there was even space to park our buggies under the stairs!!!
We all loved our stay at Lancaster House and we cant praise it highly enough, we have already recommended to friends and will be back!!!
Thank You x

We very much enjoyed our 3 night stay, from the moment we arrived the service from Barrie (the Manager) and his staff was friendly and first rate. All our 3 rooms had a fresh decor and were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent. It even passed our "sausage test" - we often find that smaller hotels use cheap and nasty sausages; not so at the Lancaster!. We had an evening dinner at the Bistro, that also was excellent and very good value for money too. The Hotel is easy to find and has free parking on site ( I hate having to park offsite!). The location is very convenient for town, pier, Tower etc, we walked everywhere other than a short bus / tram ride to the pleasure beach. Overall, very good value; I can certainly recommend the Lancaster!
