We are a family with 2 young children who travelled down with another family for the weekend, We found the hotel to be of a high standard and very accomodating, nothing was to much trouble.
The room rates were brilliant, when you have a young family it is hard to find somewhere reasonably priced yet still of a good standard, this hotel ticked all the boxes for us.
The breakfast was outstanding and set in the lovely restuarant.
We have already booked for next year and will definately recommend this without doubt .
Location was great, away from the hustle and bustle yet a short walk takes you to the pleasure beach or there are restuarants and cinema within a 5 min walk.
It is not often you find a little Gem, this definately is!!

our party ,was 4 adults and 3 teenagers ,staying in 2 rooms.for 3 nights. a spotlessly clean hotel with friendly and helpful owners,Maria and Barry and their staff. rooms very comfortable with en suites. tv, tea and coffee making facilities, and clean towels daily.Modern and spacious dining room. Breakfasts consist of cereal ,toast, fruit juice tea and coffee, and a really good buffet for a full english. In the evening the dining room becomes Olivers Bistro, a restauarant which is a must try, Barry a top chef ,serving fantastic food ,Comfortable bar area with plenty of seating. There is also free parking behind the hotel . Can honestly say, that in all the years we have visited blackpool, Lancaster House Hotel ,is the best hotel we have stayed in ,and we will definately be going back.... an excellent hotel .would highly recommend.

I stayed here for a few nights in October. First impressions when walking into the hotel were of a clean and then double clean nature, though with a smell similar to that of a dentist waiting room (that overly clinical odour).

Moving on the the room and again on first impressions, very nice, decent space, clean and fresh with nice crisp soft linen. On the negative side my room was not without fault, being mainly a kettle with a 'mind of it's own' (swiching itself off and on randomly as it boiled - which was annoying), mirrors fitted at strange heights (to low when standing up, yet to high when sitting on the chair) - this gave me neck ache after the first night. Also the heating was on in the evening but then switched off through the night - this led me to become a little cold and make my neck even worse. (perhapes I'm being picky, but a hotel should really ensure guest are warm and cosy). Saying, that I am sure that if I'd made a comment to the friendly staff then they would have sorted this out straight away for me.

Breakfast was good, with nice cooked food, but with a set routine. Would have preferred a more flexilble approach and arrangement. Ie: get what you want, when you want - and a bit more chilled out and relaxed.

Would stay here again, but would look around first to see what other hotels there were in the area.

I stayed with a friend for a long weekend. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the bed in my single room was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was splendid and the service was friendly and chatty without being intrusive.

We began with a 10 day stay in mid September. We enjoyed it so much that we returned at the end of the month for a weekend break which was equally enjoyable. We are already looking forward to our next visit early in the new year. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone who is looking for value for money and hospitality at its very best.
Maria, Barrie & staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until, sadly, our stays came to an end. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to be helpful and meet our individual needs. Breakfast was outstanding. So too were the evening meals with service of the highest level. Hotel is modern, spacious, comfortable, well decorated and spotlessly clean.

Stayed in the Lancaster house hotel with friends, paid the extra to stay in a suite - well worth it. The suite was wonderfull, great bathroom. Bed very large and the most comfy I have experienced. Booked thru Classic british hotels and recieved a discount for booking 2 weeks in advance. Book the resturant and had a wonderful meal. No moans from any of us (4 in group) and my hubby is hard to please. The staff where great and could not do enouh for you. Spa and lesure centre good. Overall a lovely short break and will be going back soon.
