Hi having just got back from this fantastic hotel this morning , we have had what as described as a great week of polite staff , this includes the manager and manageress his/ her welcoming aproach to his/ her guests , the reception staff were excellent in welcoming us as we had come along way , the bar staff were very polite and welcoming when aproaching the bar , the cleaning staff were also very polite , the porters were polite too and very helpful when our cases were took to our room which was on the first floor , room 121 which is at the other end of the hotel , with a sea view , as we are pensiners this was a great help , the kitchen staff and the restraunt staff are very polite and very helpful , the food was very good with a wide selection , for breakfast and dinner , nothing is too much trouble for the staff concerned in the restraunt , i found the restraunt to be very clean , and run very proffessionly , at no time did i have to wait more than 5 minutes for whatever we ordered , well done all the staff that i have mentioned ,
The room we had 121 had a large sea view window , which made out stay so much better , the room was spotless , with a large double bed and single , and good size bathroom ,
The entertainment was very good too with comics and singers every night , and the compare Ryan which kept us amused with his antics ,and jokes ,a great night entertainment every night , well done all of the entertainers and for Ryan, well i will be booking to go again later in the year , cant wait to get back there for another week of fun and good food and most of all the polite members of staff , Mr & Mrs Smith

Room Tip: best to ask the reception staff , which are best

Never been to Blackpool for many years, went last minute for easter break, wish we had stayed at home. Take a look at photos what a hole, dated and filthy, we ran a cloth on shower rail, seeing was believing on the dirt up there, never mind the floors etc. upholstery pitted, kettle neads putting in the bin, god knows what we could of caught had we used it. i could give a list a mile long. imagine sitting in a sea view lounge area. well look at my photos and decide would you want to sit there Food returned most days, runny raw poached eggs, raw sausages, Cold rock hard toast the minute you sit down 10 minutes before your breakfast, Im sure they got it from other tables. Raw cold veg, Sliced Pots cooked in dirty chip fat, absolutley disgutting, Food in general dreadful. Your all inclusive lunch is tues, tiny dried out triangle sandwich with a bowl of left over something or another. then wed. shep pie and again thurs sandwich and the soup thing. Served in hall on a table in a large urn. Worse than a homeless food kitchen. Much worse. thats it nothing else all week . Coffee served from a water urn. from a urn, yes you read right from a water urn on a table and tea left to stew for hours on a hot plate. Horified. Stayed mon to friday and never had one cuppa had to go out every time for one and for lunch and supper. What sort of all inclusive is that. Evening meal must be in by 7pm latest and out by 7.30 and even then lucky if anything left as we found out. The staff are unpleasant, the hotel is filthy and no i would not recomend this hotel to anyone. We tryed complaining but fell on deaf ears as no body was willing to do anything. Said hotel full so cant change rooms and other hotels in group also full due to easter. They just shug shoulders and walk away. We where so upset as had such a poor week there we left and booked into a bed and breakfast and stayed weekend and had a lovely time in a lovely b&b with imaculate rooms, fantastic owners and fab food. Wish we had booked there all week, would also of been cheaper. We live and learn. Feel free to ask any questions.

This hotel was fab...the food, the service was excellent. Our room had a double bed and a single one and the room was very spacious and clean. Entertainment for ma wee yin who is 9 was fab with the kids club and adult entertainment was gr8 aswell. Bar prices were reasonable. I would definetly go back . The only down side was that the North Pier is still getting work done to it and we had to go to the Central Pier to get to the beach.
Would like to say a BIG THANK YOU TO CAROLA who worked serving the meals the service she gave us was 100% and couldnt do enough to help.

Family party of 3 adults and 3 children stayed at the Claremont for 5 nights. Service was excellent, staff very friendly and accommodating. . Kids club and very good caberet ensured that there was plenty to do for kids as well as adults. Food was good and varied and chidren could choose from main menu as well as kids menu. Rooms were clean and comfortable although our rooms looked onto a dingy quadrangle. We had a
v ery enjoyable stay but it was difficult to book specific floor or rooms next to each other.
This is the second time we have asked for lower floor with rooms near each other. Hotel
could improve on this. However great value for money and would recommend.

Room Tip: Children can eat same meals as adults but ask!

asked for disability room when booking. arrived at claremont given room at the far side of hotel. via 4 fire doors which wheel chair struggled to pass. complained and was given another room on the 3rd floor near to the lift, room was pre booked so we was moved again on 3rd day to another room which to be honest was just farcical trying to get the wheelchair in and out of the room. but food and entertainment was brill. we have been about six times no complaints till we needed help as requards disabilities?? when booking in advance people should be informed about rooms for disabilities. and if rooms not available then you should be informed.
