Thanks once again to the staff and management at the Claremont,
I recently had a trip to Blackpool but unfortunately was a working few days, but still got booked in for the all inclusive week.
Marcus , one of the managers, very friendly with guests , never too busy to stop and have a quick chat.
The ladies at reception are excellent , extremely helpful ....thanks.
Bar and restaurant staff as always nothing too much trouble particular thanks to Chris and Peter in the restaurant and Stuart and Tim at the bar.
See you all soon :)

3rd visit in 3 years and enjoyed it just as much again. The food is always superb and the service is excellent with lovely, friendly staff. We were all inclusive and I mainly went for the Baileys and the bottles of pear cider, but at only £1 for drinks that weren't on the all inclusive list I was quite happy. There is a tram stop right out side the hotel which we used occasionally but the town centre is just a nice stroll away. We opted for a sea view room and had a lovely upgraded room with wonderful views of the sun setting each evening. The bed was so comfy and I had my best few nights sleep in ages. We'll be back!
PS. I think the man from Manchester, who left an awful report a while back, must have been staying at a different hotel. Either that or he works at another hotel which possibly isn't doing as well as the Claremont!

the room was adequate without being especially comfortable, as were the beds and was reasonably clean but was showing signs of wear.
The bathroom was really small and cramped.but again was reasonably clean.
The view from the room we had didn't exist, the window opened onto a central void of the hotel, drain pipes etc. but was very quiet at night.
I have never heard floors as creaky as they are at this hotel, and repairs to the fabric of the hotel away from the bars etc was of a poor quality and gave an impression of shabbiness
On a positive note the meals were very good. Good quality food, well cooked and presented with only a minor hiccup with waiting one evening.
The menu offered enough choice for everyone to find something tempting.
This also applied at breakfast
The bar was well stocked with a good selection of "inluded" drinks although I did find that I was able to drink more than usual without any ill effects.
The staff varied a little from really helpful, friendly and polite in the vast majority to one bartender who was a bit surely.
Entertainment was pretty much as you would expect, assorted singers, a couple of dancers (once) and a comedian plus Bingo (lots).
Car parking was an issue with very limited parking, which because cars were double or even triple parked meant you had to hand in your keys in case your car needed moving whilst you were out. Not ideal !
the location is good near to the centre but far away to be a bit quieter.
I rated the hotel as very good on the basis of the cost and of the quality of the meals.
I imagine that there are better, more comfortable hotels available in Blackpool but doubt that any would be available at the same price and don't think that any would serve better food.
Would I return to this hotel?
quite possibly, although Blackpool isn't my first choice for a break.

Our first time at the Claremont hotel was in January of this year,Returned on the 18th of may for a sunday to Friday all inclusive break and we were not disappointed,in fact we were delighted just as much as we were on our first visit. Even though we must have had the smallest double room in the hotel, due to the fact that when we booked it was the only one left available it did not detract from what was a marvellous experience,We are hoping that there are some cancelations for the july week so that we can go back again. Looking forward to returning on a regular basis ,would not look elsewhere for accommodation when in blackpool thanks very much to all the hard working staff for a really memorable stay see you soon hopefully. We visit The Claremont at frequent intervals throughout the year and never fail to enjoy our stay . If I had any complaint it would be that the bathrooms are rather small , and because of my husbands small amount of disabillity we prefer a shower unit .

Room Tip: Top floor corner rooms large and sunny and less noise
