Elaine and Colin are a very nice couple, a warm and friendly reception is recieved by all. Breakfast's are very wholesome, just right to set you up for the mornings activities.
The bedroms are very nice and clean.. and have made good use of the space for en suite, beds are comfortable and warm.
We all really enjoyed our stay, and would stay again .

Room Tip: rooms very ample for couples..cannot comment on family

we booked 3 rooms in october for a family weekend away and to take in a show. we arrived too early but were told the rooms were ready which was great. the hotel and its owners are fantastic. the rooms were spotless as was the hotel. a good breakfast was served each morning. its in an ideal location about a 10 minute walk into town. we would definitely book again and would recommended this hotel to anyone. if i had to critisise anything it would be that the en suite bathroom was a bit small but still better than going down the corridor to a shared bathroom, saying that, the showers are brilliant in the rooms. 10/10 first class accomadation. thanks. the Aubrey family

Room Tip: we had rooms 8,9 and 3. no complaints at all

My husband and I stayed here for one night in October. We arrived early for check in and was delighted to be told that our room was ready . The room itself had a double bed and a single bed in it and while there was plenty of room for two of us it would have been a squeeze for three. The room was very clean with tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. The couple who run the B and B were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was fabulous.
The hotel is in a good location. Centrally placed and about a ten minute walk to the front.
The only things I could grumble about was the size of the bathroom. It was very small and if you were of a largere size you would have struggled, and there was only one towel per person. ohand towels just bath towels.not that important but it just seemed strange in this day and age.
If we had been staying for longer than one night I would have asked for more towels.
Other wise a nice B and B at a reasonable price.
