Tony and Mike were brilliant. The hotel was so clean and looked like brand new. The food was excellent and in the dining room it was such a nice atmosphere. We will defiantly be going back had such a good time. Well worth staying. All I can say really is FANTASTIC.

Room Tip: The triple room as very very good.

Arrived with our suitcases and before we paid the taxi fare a lovely gentleman came out to greet us and carried them up to our rooms. That impressed me but it didn't stop there. Mike and Tony were our hosts and we were absolutely spoiled by them. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast next day was delicious and plenty of it. So we decided to eat in that evening before going out to the Horseshoe. I was gobsmacked when it came, just close your eyes and you could be in the best 7 star hotel in Dubai. The food was first class and presented the best i have ever seen and i have stayed in some great 5 star hotels. The problem was it was so good i tried to eat it all and was left full for the next two days(big mistake on my part) Even when we were leaving both of them still carried on caring but not over the top. I would recommend this to the Queen and the rest of the Royal family. Hey What More Proof Do You Need. Thank you Both from the bottom of my Heart. Lovely Liz and Treasured Teresa. xx.

Room Tip: We stayed in the room right at the top of the stairs it was lovely and quiet..

Having just spent Friday and Saturday night at The Kenley for my Birthday, I can certainly say I was pleasantly surprised. As you enter the property, you can tell it is different from some of the typical Blackpool offerings. There was a spotless bar/lounge area to the front of the property and a dining room to the rear. Both were well decorated, the bar was very well stocked and the dining room was very well appointed.

We had room 5, which was a double and was at the top of the stairs. (No problem with noise.) Now, I have seen bigger rooms, but there was plenty of space, even with a dressing table, large flat screen TV and full size wardrobe. The bathroom was a simple white toilet/shower cubicle/sink affair, but had nice touches such as decent toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser.) Elsewhere, the room was decorated tastefully, was spotlessly clean and had some nice touches, such as bedside lamps on both sides of the bed and even a mini fan.

Now, the food, which was a major highlight of our stay. You get to choose from a wide range of breakfast items. You then order your breakfast the night before, so Tony can prepare it freshly for you. To start there is a selection of fruit, cereal and yoghurt, which is impeccably presented. Then, you get your breakfast.....I chose the full English breakfast on both mornings, and my girlfriend asked for poached eggs on toast. Both were absolutely amazing, befitting of any decent restaurant. To have this included in your stay represents excellent value. Could things get any better?.....well yes they could.....

The Kenley serves an evening meal every night of the week, apart from Friday and Sunday, provided that there is enough interest. At breakfast, you are asked to choose your evening meal, which in our case was a choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts. To be honest, I was a little unsure what to expect, but I needn't have worried. Tony is an excellent chef and the food was to die for. We had heard that the portions were quite generous, so we avoided eating Blackpool food that day and we were so glad we did.

Finally, our hosts, Mike and Tony deserve a mention. They were so attentive and seemed to take pride in every aspect of The Kenley. They even arranged for some balloons, wine and chocolates to be in our room for our arrival. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

If you are thinking of booking The Kenley, you had better get a move on. I look forward to our return.

Thanks

Peter and Kayleigh

Spent two nights at the Kenley. Brilliant .The food was as good as you would get in any five star restaurant for taste and presentation .Room four ,although a tad small, was very well decorated and spotlessly clean .The lounge and dining rooms were very bright and clean We were given a bottle of wine and card to celibrate our 45th wedding anniversary .Mike and Tony were really warm hosts and go out of their way to see you enjoy your stay .We will be back!!!

The Kenley, is the most perfect little hotel ever. The decor is stunning and the interior design is fabulous. Our room, no 9, was amazing, Our Daughter's room no 1 was stunning too. Our hosts were charming, attentive without being overbearing. The food was of exceptional quality, cooked to perfection. Like Mary Poppins, The Kenley is practically perfect in every way!
