Spotlessly clean
Nice decor
Great location just minutes from everything.
High quality breakfast (better than some of the 4 & 5 star chains)
Try as I could I can find no fault. Well wifi is patchy thats the best complaint I can make. So the same as most places there!
I look forward to staying again.
Home cooked evening meals good too.

Visiting Blackpool for a few days by the sea and this place was recommended.

I can see why. Easy to book and very good price for the time if year. Opted for a Premier Room as I like my own bathroom.

Warm and friendly reception when I arrived and that friendly welcome was continued through the stay.

Lovely room and although noisy during the day, I did open the window I was there, it was very quiet at night.

Great facilities in the room with a good supply if tea and coffee. And bonus power points by the bed for charging my phone.

Breakfast was great and nice atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble and great atmosphere to mix with other friendly guests.

Highly recommended and I shall be staying again.

Thanks..

Returned again this year as last year was excellent. As expected room (Elton John) was clean and cosy. Shower was powerful and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and Kevin and Mark were a friendly as before. I would recommend this hotel to friends, great location and brilliant value. Only slight critism would be the wi fi was intermittent however we had this all over Blackpool and imagine the column of people about could have an impact. We had to leave early again on the Monday so missed out on breakfast which was a shame. Will definitely stay again....roll on next year

Hi Carl
Thanks for your review and pleased you both enjoyed your stay with us, the Wi Fi is improving all the time and can be a problem in Blackpool with the large number of visitors especially at weekends. Sorry you had to leave early and hope to see you again soon. Best wishes Kevin & Mark

We stayed at Chaps in the James Dean Room.
On arrival we were greeted warmly and got the low down on the hotel and its facilities.
Our room was on the first floor and we had our bags carried up to our room.
The room was spotless and nicely furnished. The bathroom was quite compact but the shower was a nice size so it wasn't a problem.
The only slight criticism was that there was no view from the double windows. It was just a brick wall which was actually the building next door. We couldn't even see the sky but having said that the room was bright and airy so didn't spoil our stay.
We stayed from Thursday to Sunday and the hotel was very quiet until Saturday when we had really noisy people in the room next to us. The walls are quite thin. As it was only one night we weren't too bothered. If the noise had gone on into the small hours then I would have complained.
Breakfast was hearty and there was a choice of tea/coffee/juice to drink. There was also a selection of breakfast cereals as well as a fully cooked breakfast with unlimited toast. The food was great quality and cooked well. The dining area and kitchen was spotless too.
There was a bar at the hotel but I never saw it open which is a shame as it looked really nice.
If we're ever in Blackpool again, we'll definitely stay at Chaps.
Thanks for a lovey stay!

Hi John
Thanks for your review and pleased you enjoyed your stay with us, unfortunately there is not a view in the James Dean suite but there is nothing we can do about this as you rightly point out the wall is part of next door, with regards to the noise from the room next door we haven't had a problem before but will keep this in mind as the walls in these old buildings are fairly thick, we don't open the bar every night in the week but it is open at weekends it depends how many guests we have staying as to how busy the bar is going to be, hope to see you again soon. Best wishes Kevin & Mark
