We chose this hotel at random, and it was the best choice we could of made. It was a home from home. Keith and Angela were the perfect hosts, the accommodation , the service, family atmosphere ,and home cooking was perfect. If you are looking for a place to stay in Blackpool, then look no further than the King Edward. We will definitely be going back. Thank you Keith and Angela.

just home from 5 days at the king edward, yet again Keith and Angela were the perfect hosts. Rooms are comfortable, the welcome extremely friendly and the food amazing, as i am on a health kick they sorted me a healthy breakfast and some amazing home cooked evening meals. I would advise anyone looking for a good priced, friendly and relaxing hotel to give them a call and book in.

Room Tip: they are all fantastic

Travelling back to Berwick from our Daughter's house in Shropshire we decided to take a detour to see the changes made to Blackpool. My husband remembered having the King Edward hotel recommended to him and we called in on speck to see if they had a room available. Keith and Angela the owners couldnt have been more accommodating. They welcomed us and booked us into a beautiful light and airy room in the front of the hotel. It was immaculate and the en suite had a wide range of toiletries and even cotton wool and cotton buds. The bed was so comfortable that I joked the next morning we were taking it away with us! We decided to go out for a meal and Keith and Angela were so helpful in recommending a nice restaurant. My husband and I came back to the hotel and really enjoyed a lovely relaxed night cap in the bar Keith and Angela made us feel like we had known each other for years they are such a lovely and interesting couple and a real assset to Blackpool itself. Next morning there was a breakfast selection for every taste and a good selection of cereal, Keith even made me poached eggs, a BIG plus in my book. We have already decided to return with the grandchildren for the Illuminations this year and will be delighted to return to The King Edward Hotel. Thank You!!

This guest house was chosen at random as it had availability of connecting rooms that would sleep two adults and three teenagers and we were just looking for somewhere to stay overnight in Blackpool. We were not disappointed - the room was clean and adequate in size, with proper beds - no flimsy "Z-beds". We received a very warm welcome and friendly service from Keith and Angela throughout our short stay. Breakfast was excellent, with good quality ingredients and generous portions. The location, slightly out of the town and away from all the noise, was perfect. We felt it was excellent value and would definitely stay here again, should we return to Blackpool.

Just returned home following 3 night stay here while in Blackpool for the Open at Lytham St Annes. Nice, clean tidy hotel with very friendly owners. Breakfast was superb. The owners even got up early to cook it for us when we went to the Golf.
